Addicted to cleaning now
This is the best product Iâve ever purchased for cleaning. Powerful, lightweight, easy to empty, easy to switch between accessories. And the green light – just wow! I can see dirt being removed and am so impressed with the suction. I am now using this daily because itâs so convenient and lightweight. I have 2. Kittens and a dog, so daily was. Needed. But I. Never saw the dirt like I do nowâ¦.Highly recommend this vacuum. Only wish is that the green light was on the carpet attachment (but that works incredibly well)â¦. 10. Stars if I could give it!

Solid product
Did a lot of research on vacuums before buying the v15. Overall – really loving it. A few things to note:Pros:-Fluffy Lazer head works insanely well on hardwoods and illuminates dust that is naked to the visible eye. It’s honestly crazy how much it shows.-Light weight and easy to use. Holding down the trigger to vacuum doesn’t bother me. I know some others dont prefer that but I personally don’t mind.-Suction is insane and as I expected for a Dyson.-Looks good.-Was easy to mount on the wall using the provided hardware.Cons:-This vacuum struggles on rugs. I tried every direction and it won’t get it done. The head gets stuck and stops. I only have 3 small rugs so not a big deal for me but something I wanted to call out for others.-Battery life. The battery is perfectly sufficient for my needs so I’m giving it 5 stars, but I likely couldn’t clean my entire home in one charge. It does great on hardwoods and shows a 60 minute runtime on the screen. For carpets, it’s also very effective (like I said, the suction is insane), but it drains more power on carpets and shows ~20 minutes of runtime. My house is 2,300 sqft and I don’t think I could get all of the house in one go. It pulls up more dust and debris than my old corded shark and is overall better at cleaning. However, If you need this to get through a large house in one deep cleaning session, you may want to buy another battery or a different product. The batteries are detachable and easy to swap. I don’t know the cost of a battery but just something to consider.Overall – super happy with it and it suits my needs as someone who cleans multiple times a week and can breakup cleaning sessions if I run out of juice.I was not paid for this review 🙂

Best vacuum on the market
This is the best vacuum I have ever owned. I absolutely love the green laser tracking for the dust on the ground. It comes with multiple vacuum heads so you can clean anywhere in your house or car. Itâs very easy to set up and use the battery lasts for me to clean my entire house in one charge. Itâs very light to hold an easy to maneuver. The cost is high but worth the value.

Beware: Doesnât work on oriental rug
Dyson v15 detect Plus doesnât work on my standard pile ( not shag, not high pile, not sculpted) rugs.Using the âDigital Motorbar cleaner headâ, which âadapts power across different floor typesâ, the bar turns and then stops, machine makes a whirring noise because itâs powering but wheel doesnât turn. I lift the head and start again only to have it happen over and over. In those moments when the wheel is turning it is extremely difficult to push across the rug. Further, one of the attachments arrived with dust inside it- looks used.I tried troubleshooting. The Dyson app is completely useless and only does a good job of trying to sell you another Dyson product. When l entered the serial number it gave me instructions for a product that cleans with water -not my model- useless.I couldnât find a clear explanation of whatâs in the box, assembly or which attachments should be used for specific cleaning jobs. I found a User Manual online that shouldâve been included in the box-or at least a QR code that links to it. That is also unclear about attachment uses.I finally phoned Dyson customer service who wanted to do a video call to see the product in action. I advised l couldnât do that right now and they hung up on me!The question is: Is this product not suitable for rugs? The marketing copy says Yes!That said, the suction is amazing. Itâs more weight than l expected and requires much more effort than a traditional canister vacuum. Cordless feature is a pleasure. Itâs going back.

Great vacuum
This replaced a 25 year old Oreck that had seen better days. This vacuum is lighter, easier to maneuver, and has ample power and run time. I especially like the green lighted head hard flooring attachment. The green light makes the smallest dirt/dust visible. I was skeptical of this feature but it’s very useful and not a “gimmick.”

Great for pet hair
I love my Dyson! As someone who has multiple dogs and fosters cats for the local shelter my house gets hairy quickly. I love the cordless light weight design. It makes vacuuming less of a chore, no more dragging out the heavy upright and plugging and unplugging room to room. This vacuum zips along through the whole house. I can vacuum the living dining and family rooms plus the bedrooms and hallways on a single charge. The laser feature is great on hardwood floors and easily shows all the dust and hair you wouldnât even see with the naked eye!The attachments are great and I love the hair free design of the brush head that keeps long hair from getting wrapped around it. I just wish the hardwood brush head with the laser had a similar feature. I have long hair and I have had to cut it out of the hardwood brush head to keep it spinning correctly. The changing of brush heads and attachments is the most difficult part of this design and could still be improved upon (Iâve pinched myself a few times changing them) but overall is easier than other vacuums Iâve had. I do wish the canister held more, as I am emptying multiple times when Iâm vacuuming. But the suction is great and gets everything on the first pass. Overall a great buy, 4 stars for great functionality and ease of use. 1 star off for the small canister, sometimes cumbersome attachment changes and high price point.

This is a very handy vacuum cleaner. No cords to drag around, has plenty of power. The attachment with an LED/laser light is incredible how it identifies dust on the floor that you cannot see without it! Comes with a good assortment of attachments. Well worth the money.
