I read the reviews on the compatibles but decided that sometimes in life itâs better to outlay on a more expensive part, get the genuine one, and get the quality. I didnât regret this purchase. Yes it was Â£37.99, but I was still using the original filter on my 4 yr old V15 Absolute detect so hadnât spent out on it since purchasing it. My Dyson was requested filter cleaning more and more frequently, and the patterned mesh on mine was getting fluffy in my old one so thought it was time for a new one to see if it improved things. WOW was I impressed or what!!! Itâs an INCREDIBLE difference itâs made to the suction of the hoovering. Itâs honestly like a brand new hoover again. Iâm truly stunned. Whoâd have thought just changing the filter would make such a vast improvement to the performance and workings of my Dyson. Itâs virtually sucking up the carpet. Amazing! Well chuffed with this. Iâll definitely be replacing this filter more frequently in future now knowing this. Itâs always better getting the genuine part and this came direct from Dyson. Thatâs Â£38 well spent ð

Fits and works
Our vacuum wasn’t picking things up the way it used to. I read reviews and reasons and they said to try a new filter. I did. It works. I don’t know for how long but it extended the life of the vacuum at least for a little while.
