Great suction and lightweight
I amAstonished how powerful the suction is one swipe and dirt gone. Light and quick on my stair treads. Perfect for all ur jobs. Especially if you have animal hair to pick up . Plus the charge lasts 30 minutes canât ask for anything more. And it is not hard to clean and no odor. Clean fast and perfect

Woefully inadequate for the job
I like Dyson products and have many. However, this Humdinger is shocking for how weak the suction power is for something that costs so much. I liken it to a Black & Decker $39 handheld which are decent suction for the price, but you wouldn’t pay $260 for it. I picked up my old Dyson V7 Car and Boat vacuum and compared them: the V7 was at LEAST double the suction power. Which is what I’ve come to expect from a handheld. Then when you look at them together you realize that the motor/venturi component of the V7 is at least twice as big as the Humdinger, which makes sense now. But they market it as the most powerful lightweight handheld, but it’s only half right, it’s lightweight for sure. I wish the suction was up to the typical Dyson standards, then it would be flying off the shelves.It was initially VERY frustrating that I could not find a wall mount for the Humdinger. Not sure why they decided not to offer one…big mistake. But that issue is moot now that I returned the Humdinger and bought a new V8 direct from Dyson for about $70 more than the Humdinger and I even get floor attachments.On a side note: I finally figured out that if you pay Dyson’s rip off prices for a replacement battery (at Dyson.com), it will last a long time, just like the original battery. If you go for the cheaper replacements found on Amazon which I did several times, they’ll last on average about two or three months and start shutting off every ten seconds on a full charge.

Disappointing
I bought this for my mom whoâs getting old and needs a lighter vacuum than her v12. This is really light compared to that. However, the suction is much lower. I guess you can only use this for very light duty on furniture or your car. If thatâs all you can do with this then itâs way too overpriced. Also, there are only 3 attachments/accessories and itâs not compatible with the full size models. I was hoping you could just attach the wand and floor nozzle, but you canât. Hopefully someone comes up with an adapter so you can use the other Dyson accessories. Then again, trying to use this thing as if itâs as strong as the full size models might end up being even more of a disappointment than it already is.

Great For Small Pickups
Oh my gosh! I love this little vacuum! It’s easy to use, picks up the small stuff well, and it’s cute. I use it along all the door frames, baseboards, and windows sills. Of course, it’s great for small pickups between major vacuuming. Highly recommend.

Super Awesome but Overpriced
Useful daily.Compared with the cheap forty dollar no-name version, this is far better. Stronger suction and better design. You may not even touch the dirt the way it empties. Smart. Keep collecting pennies to buy one!

I love this thing
Easily the best $300 Iâve spent this year. Itâs light, powerful and really easily to use and empty. Iâve only had it for a couple of weeks so I canât comment on the longevity, but so far I absolutely love it.

What a handheld vac should be. The rotary cartoonish is perhaps a bit muchâ, taxing on the battery.All in all Iâll give it a 5 for 5.
