Great high visiblity hose.
Bought this hose to complement my small work shop saw dust vacuum system. Couplers connected directly to the SHOP VAC brand vacuum and accessories. Hose is durable by way of the ribbing on the hose, should you encounter something very sharp in between the ribbing the hose is vulnerable. But with a little care this hose should work just fine. I like the high visibility color, flexibility, light weight, and length (25ft.).

Antishock yes, antistatic kind of?
I bought it because i sand floors, i was looking for a antishocking hose and i found it, Iâve used other hoses before and they have shocked me but this one is working great so far, it hasnât collapsed under 160CFM, the only thing im worried is how long itâs going to last me, ill update the review later 6/26/2021

So nice and flexible! But small diameter restricts air flow.
Excellent quality, very flexible and very durable. I wish it would work, but the smaller diameter restricts air flow so much I had to go back to the larger 2.5″ size. We noticed that with the new hose we weren’t getting the cleaning we were accustomed to, so I measured air flow with a digital wind velocity meter, and found that it was almost exactly half with the smaller hose than the original 2-1/2″. I was not able to find as nice a hose in the larger size, so I’m unhappy with the stiff and unwieldy cheap black plastic, but it does the job much better, and we depend on it everyday.

Too bad smaller diameter
Other poster was right. Reduction in hose size creates considerable loss of suction. When you use every day for work this will not do. Returned no problem though and was of nice quality. Too bad so much smaller diameter than my original Craftsman hose.

Extends shop vac hose perfectly
I bought this 25′ hose to extend my Rigid shop vac WD 14500’s original hose. A coupling was included with the shipment, which connected my 2 hoses perfectly. (The new hose has a 1-1/2″ INSIDE diameter, slightly less than the original shop vac hose). When researching this hose I had a hard time determining whether or not this would work as I wanted, since the reviews and comments for the 2.25″ hose and the 1-1/4″ hose are all listed together. I couldn’t easily tell which item the reviewer is talking about. The manufacturer’s description also does not make it clear, nor did it say the coupling was included, as it was. Finally I decided I would buy this one and deal with adapting the two hoses to each other when my purchase arrived. So happy this new hose fits perfectly as I connected the two instantly. Now I can clean the basement, car, garage, etc. much more easily.Just to be sure, the included coupling is smooth, no attaching clip (such as the one which connects the original Rigid shop vac hose to the shop vac) so you can only use this 25′ hose to extend the smooth end of the shop vac’s original hose, and not to clip into the shop vac directly.

12 foot shop vac hose
Got this recently for my craftsman 5 gallon shop back. Accessories fit just fine. They are noted as 2 1/2 inch from craftsman and this worked well with all of my accessories. The House is flexible on appear strong, but I have not given it a crash test. I am at home renovator and my only complaint would be that the hose itself appears slightly smaller than diameter than my original craftsman hose, so I wonder if it may get caught or clogged up a little bit more when I am picking up large debris. The added link is fantastic because I can reach into higher places and not have to lift my fairly large vacuum.

Strong & flexible
I manage dust control in a Shop with a dozen pieces of power equipment and four Jet dust collectors. I have experimented with a number of different Hoses so that I can use the dust collectors to vacuum the floor (shop vacs just spew out tiny/dangerous dust particles). this is by far the best. Flexible, easy to cool. Doesnât get tangled. Itâs long, though. You will need something to help you Coil the hose and hang on the wall.

I have a Craftsman shop vacuum with a 2-1/4â hose that is 30+ years old. I recently fabricated a custom dolly with a recoil power cord to improve the ergonomics of the vacuum and facilitate hose storage. The original hose consisted of two sections totaling about 12 feet in length. The new hose is twice that length and more flexible. I utilize the vacuum regularly and wanted to eliminate some of the annoying drawbacks of the original unit. Although somewhat expensive, the new hose is a welcome addition to a now more functional vacuum.
