Works great with minor complaints
Works great to help keep the shop vac bag from filling with dust and chips. Assembly was easy but the foil tape to act as a ground was not possible to install as it goes where the cyclone in the lid is. Also the casters are held on with small pieces of sticky pad. The manual says you can use bolts to to more securely attach the caster bases to the main container which I found I needed to do.

Worked wonders
I needed to grind down some concrete self-leveler that didn’t self-level. Dust Deputy to the rescue! This was the most affordable solution for a project type (concrete grinding) which I hope I never have to do again. Had many 5 gallon buckets and a shop vac, so gave this try. Truly impressive how much dust this will collect and keep the vacuums bag from clogging. Did 45 square feet without any problems with the vacuum dust bag clogging.

Excellent, preferred over standard Dust Deputy
I’ve had an original Dust Deputy for over a decade, and upgraded to a Dust Deputy 2.5 in the garage where I have it hooked up to a Ridgid shop vacuum. I bought this low-profile one for use with a CNC machine.I spoke with Oneida customer service and they say that the efficiency of the Low-Pro is the same as the original. The low profile is better than the original because the lower height makes it tougher to tip over if you’re dragging it around by the hose, also makes it easier to fit into a shop-made cart or in my case, underneath my CNC enclosure. On top of this, if you’ve used the original Dust Deputy you know it’s a big pain to get the lid off when it’s time to empty. The low profile has little tabs to release the lid which make it tremendously easier.

Works great on my miter saw with 5.5 shop vac
I’ve got it hooked up with tall shop vacuum paired with automatic vacuum switch ð now every time I turn on my saw vacuum kicks on and almost every bit of sawdust go’s in bucket not the vacuum. I love it ð
