I recently purchased the Dream X40 Ultra, and it has completely transformed my home cleaning routine. It just works. Really well.
I bought this after returning the horrible Roomba Combo 10. As bad as that product was, the Dreame is good.In all the ways the roomba failed, the Dreame excels. Some examples include:- Mapping is fast and accurate regardless of light- Mopping is effective, does not leave puddles, and most importantly, doesn’t smell because the mop pad s get completely dry- Vacuuming is also substantially better than any other robot vacuum Iâve owned (two Roombaâs)- It’s an order of magnitude quieter than the Roomba: to the point that you can run it at night without disturbing sleep. A nice touch: if your phone is in sleep mode, it won’t empty the dust bin because it’s the loudest operation- Itâs very reliable – Iâve had exactly one failed vacuum session in the roughly month Iâve had it – it didnât see a hanger on the floor which knocked off one of the magnetically attached mop heads. Once I put it back on, it resumed its business- The battery size is substantially better – it will finish our entire house with somewhere between one to two charges. It charges quickly as well- The obstacle avoidance is excellent if a little more conservative than I wish – it even tackled my office- There are little touches like using the camera to show videos / animated gifs of our pets as the Dreame encounters them while cleaningIs it perfect? no – the device and app were clearly not written by native-English speakers. Who knows where the map of my house is.All that said, even the skeptics in my family are now on board. Itâs great and 100% worth it.

Really loving it so far
I have only had one other robot vacuum and I gotta say this is the way to go if you’re looking for an upgrade.Setup and appSetup was extremely easy and took about 5 mins, apps seems intuitive and easy to use. There is an abundance of cool settings you can enable or customize for not just the vacuum but the base station itself. I will say some of the descriptions can be further expanded on but the gist is there. So far no issues with app. Taking all the stickers and foam off, installing the required parts, adding liquids all was simple enough.Pros- initial mapping was quick and did a great job- suction is really good and picked up the patch of hair/dirt I dropped to test with ease- Ran initial cleangenuius deep clean and it did a great job especially with mopping. When I emptied the dirty water it was really dirty so you can tell it really cleaned well.- functionality is great, it’s cleans the mop pads after every room which is the best way to do it. You can also customize how often it empty the trash into the baseCons- when it’s cleaning the mop or emptying the trash it’s LOUD, it’s not a huge issue but worth adding it to the cons- carpet cleaning could be a tad bit better, usually 2 passes does the job though. They really really need to have the side brush work when cleaning carpet. Not sure why they would disable this but supposedly it’s going to be enabled in a future update.- on max suction vacuum is pretty loudOverallI would highly suggest this vacuum, I’m not seeing any huge cons. I haven’t ran into issues as of yet. I plan on updating this review if any additional things come out.

ReseÃ±a de varias cosas que contar despuÃ©s de poco mÃ¡s de 1 mes de uso:Pros:1) carga muy fÃ¡cil, silenciosa, mapea excelente la casa y muy rÃ¡pido, no hace mucho ruido, sus cÃ¡maras hace que evite las cosas en el piso y las identifica la IA, la baterÃa le dura sin detalles para toda la casa y la sobra.A tomar en cuenta:2) base muy grande (entiendo que es por lo que ofrece, solo para que lo tomen en cuenta), las mopas hay que limpiarlas a mano despuÃ©s de cierto uso porque luego al mopear puede oler mal la casa al trapear comida, jugos, cocas, aceite, etc., si le quitas la IA al trapear, es fÃ¡cil que se atasquen las mopas, si le quitas la IA llega a lugares profundos pero si es torpe (prefiero este uso, pero cuando realmente quito todo del piso), el agua si la usas a diario, te dura menos de 1 semana y hay que rellenar.En contra:Creo que le falta pulir un poco dichos detalles para ser la mejor del mercado y no tener competencia, esto por su precio.Comentarios finales:AÃºn asÃ, estoy muy contento con mi compra y mi esposa igual. Es indispensable en el dÃa a dÃa y mÃ¡s porque tenemos una niÃ±a de 1 aÃ±o y es indispensable tener limpio.
