Oh just love the Dirt Devil Scorpion plus. This brand of vacuum cleaner is one of my favorites. they are made well and does a good job of cleaning just as described. I am very happy with my purchase and highly reccomend it.

With a rotating brush it picked up well on carpet. Longer electrical cord than most types of electrical items. Would buy again as price was a favor price for vacuum, does a great job on carpeted stairs. Quick change head for plank floor.

I would have given this a 4.5 had it not been for the piece that comes up for the corners and crevices. It broke off. Very delicate so pull up with care. I didn’t return it because I’m probably never gonna use this piece. I got this VAC for my steps. I Used it and love it! Great suction Perfect for my steps.

i was excited to use this product, and it worked great for one use. the power carpet brush stopped at the end of the session and now it does not work at all. Very disappointed.

Corded means power when you want it, as long as needed; and the unit won’t be landfill trash due to an exhausted battery that cannot be replaced. Compared to two non-corded handheld vacuums I tested: best suction. The cord is about 18 feet long; good for small jobs. I vacuumed our stairs from each direction. Cat litter – no problem. Love the built-in crevice tool. HOWEVER, the crevice tool is very difficult to snap-out of it’s nook. Even my husband nearly lost a fingertip because it takes enormous pull, then flies open faster than one can let go. Ouch! And it swings / hinges on plastic-pegs. One has already broken off. Fortunately, the pegs/hinges are not needed to use the tool. To make the tool easy to access, one can file down the plastic prongs and then apply self-adhesive velcro to hold the tool in it’s nook.

This is the second Scorpion I’ve bought and it won’t be the last. It doesn’t lose suction, picks up everything, andreaches everywhere. This model has a little hose and upholstery like brush attachment which is a bonus. It’s beyond worth the money and I have two pups that live with me.
