This vacuum is replacing my Bissell wet vac for pets (Pro Heat) and the Dirt Devil is way better. It’s a similar design but the DD fixed a lot of product flaws in the Bissell.The Bissell has a rigid hose so mine eventually got a tear. I looked the problem up online and found a lot of people had the same issue since the hose gets twisted so easily and eventually just cracks.The DD is lighter and smaller, so much easier to store. The water tank is also much smaller than the Bissell but that didn’t bother me. Suction is about equal on both, but I appreciated that the DD came with an attachment that wasn’t a brush (silicone spikes) because the brush is hard to clean and not ideal for certain stains. Also it was impossible to remove the attachments on the Bissell, but it was easy with the DD.The Bissell cleaning head and tank had so many angles on the inside that pet hair would build up but couldn’t be cleaned out. The DD cleans easily and the hose cleaner is amazing.I never had any issues mentioned in the other reviews like leaking. The only thing that might be an inconvenience is the small tank size, but like I mentioned, that was no problem for me.

Tuve la fortuna de adquirirlo a un precio bastante accesible, buenos materiales, super facil de usar y creo que una de las mejores inversiones si tienes hijos o mascotas. Limpieza de manera rÃ¡pida y prÃ¡ctica, lo he probado en tapetes, vestiduras de auto, sillones y en todo resultÃ³ ser muy Ãºtil y eficiente, ademÃ¡s de que se utiliza poca agua. Lo combinÃ© con un pulverizador de jabÃ³n y otro extra de cepillos para poder detallar mejor y creo que es aÃºn mÃ¡s eficaz. Recomedada.

Suction stopped sucking.
It was AMAZING when I first bought it. But I used it maybe 4 or 5 times, cleaned it with the self cleaner every time, and now it doesn’t have suction at all anymore :If it weren’t for that, I would have rated this a 5 star. 6 stars even if I could! I love how compact it is And I loved how it had the self cleaner, especially with having four dogs, it definitely helped get any dog hair that it happened to suck up out of the ribbed hose. It definitely fit my needs perfectly, I just wish it lasted longer than it did.

We have had a number of carpet cleaning machines over the years, both upright and portable. Each of them eventually succumbed to suction problems – difficult to clean the cleaning solution out after use.We ordered this unit based on reviews after our portable green machine packed it in. Very impressive. Light weight, simply to use, great suction and for the first time, a clean out port to ensure the solution is fully removed before storage. Brilliant! Highly recommend.

Good machine; great suction
I bought this medicine to replace my Bissell pro heat because the hose broke (and I read that the house on the dirt devil was less rigid, and it is).Pros;The suction power is pretty good; surprisingly way better than Bissell.The tools and tanks are also much easier to clean, particularly the dirty water tank, because the whole top pops right off. That’s a huge bonus!Cons:It’s very lightweight and compact, so it’s easy to storeThe tools don’t feel quite as sturdy, but I haven’t had any problem with them. I feel like, because of the suction power, you don’t need to put much pressure on them anyway.Cons:The solution/water tank is a bit small. But this is a spot cleaner, so that’s not a deal breaker.There are now clean spots on my carpet, so the rest of it looks dirty. ð

Powerful
My bisel spot cleaner broke mid mattress clean, it had only been used a few times so I needed an alternative, this little guy so POWERFUL, Iâve used it to spot clean my mattress, clean my dining table chairs and clean a few spots on my area rug.It sucks up 95% of the water, I donât worry about things sitting wet like I did with my other cleaner. It removes all the stain, itâs easy to use and easy to store. But most of all the suction is POWERFUL!Itâs definitely got a small solution tank, I donât know if I would clean an entire couch with this (maybe spray down before and use this to suck up the water). But for my needs to spot clean things itâs perfect.

Easy to use and clean
I love my Dirt Floor Steamer and didnât hesitate purchasing carpet shampooer.Easy to put together, use and cleaning unit after use. Itâs lightweight and small footprint for storage.Iâve owned many other name brands over the years and Dirt Devil Shampooer is by the best.My carpet looks new and smells clean with dirt devil shampoo that was included.

Great design, great buy
I’m really impressed with the design of this, it is so easy to assemble, use and clean. All the parts click together and come apart easily but are still durable. The bottom slides on carpet without wheels and the hose cleaner works really well. You can clean every part in a few minutes and it stores in the space of a waste basket.The tank capacity is decent for a portable cleaner, a full tank shampoos about a 2x 4 rug before it needs to be changed out. The hose nozzle can require some elbow grease, it’s a little uncomfortable to use for a long period. I ran the cleaner for about an hour to clean a bigger rug, the motor was up for it but I did have to change out the tanks several times.Works great, definitely designed for convenient spot clean up but not big projects.
