This thing is a beast
We had an old shop vac that weâve had for probably 20 years. It did okay, but it was past its prime and not pretty anymore. When looking at new ones, we decided âgo big or go homeâ and ordered this Dewalt one. You could tell this is a workhorse right out of the box! It took my husband about 10 minutes to get everything sorted out and assemble what needed to be assembled. Directions were clear and showed all the parts and accessories clearly. And this comes with a lot of accessories! We really liked how the basket attaches to the side and holds all of them. And there is actually room for all of them in it.The motor is powerful, but not super loud. This should make easy work of any messes we have in the shop or the yard. The leaf blower was an added feature that we liked. We currently have snow here so leaf blowing will have to wait, but it will be great in the wood shop for blowing dust and shavings off the workbench so you can vacuum up everything off the floor. Dewalt brand has been a very dependable brand of tools for us, Iâm hoping this vacuum and leaf blower will be the same.The only downside or criticism is the cord holder clip, which promptly came apart when pushed.

beast of a vacuum
My wife got this because we got a homestead so theres always a mess somewhere. The handheld leaf blower part is pretty sweet for our porch to keep it cleaner than sweeping it. The assembly was easy as well, just a screw driver and maybe 5 minutes of your time. The basket to hold attachments I like better because the type you snap stuff into always fall off or just look bad over time. The bag is nice, toss it in and forget about it.Im a dewalt guy too, so I really approve of the color and design. This vac has some really good suction and is no joke when it comes to cleaning up. its on the pricier side, but Ive had $400 ridgid vacs which werent as nice as this one.
