Amazing bags for your shop vac when dealing with fine dust!
Our boiler was clogged up with soot and after using our home vacuum with a HEPA filter to do the initial clean out I realized that this was going to be bigger job than expected. After fouling up four HEPA filters and creating a mess inside the Dyson I decided to purchase these bags along with a fine dust filter for the shop vac.These bags are worth every penny! The shop vac’s power made cleaning the boiler of soot a lot easier and using the shop vac’s large capacity along with these bags and the filter made a messy (and dangerous) job a whole easier and safer. I still wore PPE but the filers were clean and not residual soot dust was left in the basement.I was so happy with the performance that it was then used to suck up a bunch of 50 year old fiberglass insulation that I have been dreading cleaning up in our crawl spaces. Once again, the bag worked wonders and suction on the shop vac never diminished and, thankfully, not a single strand of fiberglass escaped the crawlspace.Cleanup was even easier! Just open the shop vac, gently remove the bag from the suction port, remove the bag from the shop vac and throw it into the trash can.

Works when installed but need to be a little careful of tears
Pros:Works well, especially when paired with a good filter. I use the HEPA one.Fits the 10 gallon with no issues.Cons:Be careful when installed as the cardboard “gasket” can come off leaving you with a mess. I just tape mine to fully seal it.The bag can rip if you overfill it; it won’t strech. So just check on it once in awhile.

I used to use shop vacs pretty much exclusively without bags – unless I was dealing with sheet rock or another very fine particulate. I would frequently have to clean some pretty nasty remains out of the vacuum tub itself. One day I saw the light. I have two 9 gallon shop vacs. one for wet pick up and one for dry. This allows me to keep a bag in the dry vac all the time. the fine dust bag is an excellent and practical all around bag. It absolutely cuts down on the mess, but it also means no exhaust port dust getting all over the room.Two years have passed since I starting doing this and the vacuum looks like I got it a few months ago, the wet vacuum needs cleaning every so often but not picking up dry stuff cuts way down on the mess. these bags are integral to this process because without them the dry shop vac wouldnât look as good as it does.this does cost a little more money, but I believe the benefits to health, speed and wear and tear far outweigh any cost increases.
