Great for cleaning large reptile enclosures!!
I can’t stop raving about this shop vac ever since it arrived. Everything about it is SO NIFTY. You can fit all of the attachments and spare bags in this little carrier in the back, and wheels pop on for easier maneuvering.I bought it because I have a monitor lizard in a large enclosure and I need to change the substrate once a month. My $900 Dyson Airblade choked and had to be repeatedly shaken to function again after it sucked up maybe a cubic inch of this mix of coconut fiber and orchid bark, so I got a hand vac that worked fine for suction, but had to be constantly emptied and I kept murdering my back trying to maneuver it in there while my lizard grew cold and impatient. When all the vacuums fail, I have to manually scoop all that substrate out. Which sucks, and not in the good effective way.Now I’m wondering where the Dewalt shop vac was my whole life!No more backaches! No more manually scooping gross substrate with a coffee scoop and still not quite getting all of it! No more constantly emptying a tiny reservoir not designed to suck up wood chips, dead bugs, and clods of lizard poop! It sucks like it’s trying to grab my attention on Redtube!It got the job done in barely 10 minutes. I just used the hose and one of the hard extensions, no nozzle attachment, and it grabbed everything in its path so I could lay down nice clean substrate. 9 gallons is the perfect size for 1-2 rock and water monitor enclosures without having to change the bag too often, if Dewalt makes larger capacities I’d recommend those if you’re a reptile breeder or keep far more reptiles than I do.My only complaint is that since it’s corded, it doesn’t go very far even with an extension cord. Maneuvering is a little awkward as a result. But that is some AMAZING suction, I even started using it with the wide floor-brush attachment as a regular vacuum! Sucks up so much dust, I won’t have allergy symptoms for months!VERY good value for the money given how much I was gouged on that Dyson and it was only a little over twice what I paid for the hand vac.

Love this thing.
This vacuum do be vacuuming. Has good suction and build quality, fantastic power as well. Pretty noisy, but thatâs what you get from a shop vac.

Shop vac
This is a very good shop vac. Comes with several useful attachments, and adapters for shop tools. Noise level is not too loud. Suction is very powerful. Cord conveniently wraps around top and so will the hose. All attachments fit nicely in the carrier that is included. Vacuum comes with one dust collection bag and one cartridge filter.

Great suction, some issues
Works well, great suction…unusually noisey though. Changed bag, checked hoses for anything contributing…nothing.

Really strong suction
Moves really well with you. Nice throw bin for all attachments right there on the vac. On/off switch so big and simple you could operate it with heavy snow gloves on.

Strong, great build quality and pretty quiet
I bought this to replace a smaller shopvac without wheels. I just use it around the house for odd projects. The size is perfect for me. I’ve only used it a couple of times (both times for dry pickup); worked great. I was pleased that this larger unit is a bit quieter than my old one; a nice surprise. It rolls around very well and the tool storage bag is great. I think I’m gonna wish it had a longer power cord; probably gonna have to use an extension to get around my whole garage. Overall build quality seems very good. I’m very glad I bought this model with the upgraded suction hose; seems very sturdy and worth a few extra $.

Powerful little guy
Requires minimal assembly – screw on 4 wheels and the handle holder for the accessory bag. It was up and running in 10 minutes. Love the color, the rubber holder for the hose, and the accessory bag so I won’t lose the attachments. Very powerful suction. I was having so much fun using it and I didn’t want to stop cleaning. I struggled deciding which shopvac to purchase but the review were consistently positive and I agree. It’s not overly loud — much quieter than my 20 year old craftsman model. Bonus was I only paid $64 after using a $30 gift card + it was on sale. After using it a few days, I’d pay full price for it. Only gripe is that I wish the cord was a bit longer.

Love the hose size. Stronger suction for sucking my band-saw sawdust. Still fairly flexible compared to the huge hose diameter of the competitors. Lots of power. I put a paper filter bag inside and works great so far (few months now).
