Good vacuum for the money
I am pleased with the dewalt shop vac. It has good suction and is not noisy. I like the size, so it doesnât have to be emptied as often. Love that it is on wheels and with the long cord I can breeze through the job. Thanks Dewalt!

Honest review here:Iâm very impressed with this 12 gallon DeWalt shop vac. It is very well made unlike many other shop vacâs out there. I owned both a craftsman and Stealth. Both of those donât compare with this one. I returned the Stealth last week and gave my Craftsman away. The craftsman is definitely not made well anymore! At least DeWalt kept the same quality for 50 years unlike the other brands!This unit is very nice. It is medium to heavy at 25 lbs but with the wheels on it, it is very lite to roll around. The build quality is very good. The hose is very big and strong at 7 feet long. The HEPA filter is very large with good quality. The wheels are very sturdy and strong. They swivel 360 degrees without any issues at all even with 12 gallons of water in it. The wheels are made very well and will not break or wear out. The attachments are also made very well. They fit perfectly on the hose and extension tubes. What I like the most about this shop vac is that when you attach the extension tubes and attachment you hear no air sounds leaking in. All other shop vacâs have an air leaking problem.The motor is exactly 5.5 HP Peak. Others list theirâs at 5.5 HP peak but in fact they are not that high. You are lucky to get 4.5 HP from them. The motor is not loud at all. I added a diffuser to my shop vac which cuts down on the noise and air exhaust air flow. This really helps. See pictures!The attachment bag/basket is awesome!! It holds everything plus the 2 extra attachments that I bought in addition to what comes with this shop vac.The hose strap is simply the best. I secure the hose tightly to the machine.The power cord wrap around the handle was genius. Everything about this shop vac is A+++++++ in my book.I highly recommend this to anyone! Must buy!!!I got a great deal on it as Amazon priced this as 30 day lowest price. They beat all the big box stores pricing.I hope my review helps your decision in what shop vac to buy. I bought this unit based on the high reviews so reviews do help in more ways than one.

Suck it up!!
I have a water garden inside an old boat…have had it for years. Over time it had become a bog…totally full of decayed leaves, etc. After scooping out perhaps a third of them, in an effort to totally empty the boat, I realized it would take me forever so came up with the idea of using a shop vac. I really didn’t know much about them, never having used one. But took a chance on this one and I’m glad I did. It worked amazingly well and with a lot less effort than manually trying to clear the boat. It sucked up the water, no problem, and that was easy to drain so we could start sucking up the muck. It also handled that with no problem. I had been advised to remove the filter before tackling the boat and was glad I did because it probably would’ve been ruined otherwise. So thank you for a well made product that saved us a lot of time and energy! I don’t imagine I will be using it very often, but at least I know it will handle whatever job we have.

Super vacuum!
We finally stopped buying cheaper models and went with the best. This vacuum is powerful, sturdy, and a real workhorse. We do a lot of home improvement and make a lot of messes. The Dewalt picks up wallboard, paint, wood, stone dust, and pretty much everything except nails. Its barrel is so big, it holds full jobs without changing the bag.

Works Great
I bought this out of necessity when we bought our house due to getting a second dog over the course of last year. It does what it needs to do and I haven’t had any issues with loss of suction or anything. It will slow down a little if it’s getting full, but emptying is pretty straightforward and it’s easy to maintain the thing. Only downside is I don’t really have any room to store it away so it kind of sits in our living room while not in use, and it’s awkward to get up and down stairs.I like it so much that if I had more money to spend freely, I would just get a second one for the upstairs.

Suction is incredible
Great section easy to use. Wouldnât it be great though if somebody made a vacuum that rolled straight unless otherwise commanded? Outside I use one of these on the job for the school district, I was so impressed with the amount of vacuum that I bought one for myself. Neither one of these to roll worth a damn. This might not be a concern of yours, however rolling it down and Iâll or hallway where you have to maneuver around 1200 kids in a hurry to go clean up a spill or a job becomes a concern. Thereâs nothing solid to push from if youâre rolling it down an aisle or hallway, you have to bend way over to hold onto it while pushing it. I actually put my vacuum in a cabinet that rolls great to move it around. So maneuverability ( or the lack there of) is my only complaint.

Very strong suction. Powerful motor, but also because of the tight seal of the upper and lower sections. Easy carry handle that doubles as the wire wrap. Stable wheels. Extra long cord. I like the large simple switch. Recommend!
