Works well, easy to use
Many people have said it is loud. Well, duh, it is a SONICation bath! It is no louder than any I’ve used. Mine is in a separate room in my shop. I wear ear protection when I’m near it. That is more for comfort than necessity. It is not that it is loud, but it is an irritating sound. That is all normal though. It does a great job cleaning tools and clock mechanisms. I was surprised that not only is dirt removed, but the brass seems polished! I love it. The drain fitting was easy to get a threaded barb from the Home Depot. Good tool.

My First Day Review With Updates To Follow
Ordered this cleaner after researching and then watching an excellent demo on YT Steve’s Small Engine Saloon. Price with discount was very fair. Seller had excellent reviews especially for customer service. Amazon was supposed to ship it in an added plain Amazon box which I had checked off in my order but they did not. Bottom of box had damage on one bottom side from an apparent drop but is very well protected inside and around cleaner and no damage was done. I did my initial set up reading the very vague instructions first. I filled unit with warm water and the unit doesn’t seem to heat unless the timer is set and unit turned on to start cleaning action. I will do a follow up on that. Initial heating is very slow. Cleaner only displays temp in centigrade but easy to get used to. I used a cooking thermometer which reads in both units to compare reading and get myself acclimated to what I wanted to set temp to which is very accurate on the digital read out. First use was to fill unit completely above included basket with warm water and a small amount of Dawn dish wash soap. There is no fill line on inside of unit and instructions do not say that it is important to fill completely like many people say is important. I watched the little demo video on the product ad and it shows them only filling the unit about 2 inches just above the eye glasses they were cleaning! Everything else I read about ultrasonic cleaners warns against under filling! I decided to clean a couple combs, brushes, coins and misc. and was not impressed initially but knew I needed to educate myself on how to use it properly. My main usage will be using it in my home shop restoring and cleaning everything mechanical, carbs, machined lathe and milling machine parts and many restoration projects. Ultrasonic cleaners have been around since the late 1930’s early 1940’s so I know they are a good investment as long as it is a descent unit as I believe this one will be for my use. In conclusion, I now know my initial mistakes, mainly because of the poor info that comes with most of these units. First- it is very important to degas your water and cleaning solution. Second-experiment to find the correct cleaning solution you will need for what you are cleaning. Third-which will take a lot of trial and error, know what time and temperature works best with the item and solution, be it water, solvents, or flammables being used and the correct way to put them in the tank without contaminating your water and not expelling fumes. Best advise is to NOT USE FLAMABLES unless your unit is designed for it, which this unit is NOT! I will definitely be doing future reviews and updates on my cleaning projects using this ultrasonic cleaner and giving my no BS opinion and progress. Hope this was helpful. Thank you, DoneWrenching. Excellent works as intended
Great ultrasonic cleaner. Works well for what it is intended. Simple, clear controls. I bought it to dissolve supports like Stratasys SR30 from 3D prints. It does work well for that as well, the capacity (4 gals) is adequate. The only limitation is that the ultrasonic agitator’s timer is limited to 30 minutes; there are good safety reasons for that, so no complaint. Either way, I am satisfied.

Works great but buy 3 of them
I purchased this to clean small parts in. Worked better than advertised. Used it 3 times in 2 months and completed my project. Went to use it last week and nothing would come on. Light on back light up but nothing else. Opened and looked at circuit board and parts were corroded, kept in air conditioning inside house. Amazon says past the point to return. Works as advertised but doesnât last long with the cheap parts used. I would have been happy with an exchange but I guess 5 months is too late. Why are you helping some customers and not others. Obviously you are aware you have a probably 20% failure rate in the first 6 months. Show you are a decent company and exchange units for people like me who got the bad units obviously assembled by new help.
So far so great just got it but parts in with cleaner and it is working amazingly. Preheats in about 15 minutes and cleans beyond expectations. –
Does what it says it will do
Product price was a little high, but once I use the unit, it definitely is worth it

Great for clock shop
I was a little reluctant to purchase this at such a terrific price but I have not been disappointed. I have this at my second location so it’s not being used everyday but I like it so much I’m planning on replacing the ultrasonic in my main shop with this model. Works perfect right out of the box. This is the first ultrasonic I’ve had with heat. It heats up fast and the heat makes a tremendous difference in cleaning.

Great garage addition
This thing is amazing – very large, accommodated my 2 barrel carb easily. Iâve heard these things are loud, but it wasnât as loud as I expected. Slow to heat but relatively stable temperatures maintained once it hit target. Cleans like you wouldnât believe – carb came out looking new! Going to be using this a lot for my other car projects when I want to deep clean a part.

If you do any automotive repairs this is a must have. I purchased the 15l model and a holley carb (once broken down) will fit inside. Does a great job at cleaning parts that there is no possible way of cleaning any other way. Yes it is loud but for the performance I don’t care. Works well and I would recommend.

El producto viene muy bien empacado y es de muy buena calidad. Tiene la función de calor y de limpieza. Normalmente solo utilizo la de limpieza. Contiene una llave de drenado para facilitar la limpieza

As a keen year round cyclist one of the downsides is filthy bikes and drivetrains. I have tried various strategies of cleaning frequency and methods but the bottom line is that if you don’t clean chains and cassettes thoroughly during the winter the wear rate is unacceptable.Initially I used a paintbrush, white spirit and an old baking tray but this was labour intensive, stunk of fumes and left me with dirty solvents to dispose off. About 2 years ago I bough a parts washer and used a water based de-greaser which was much better as I could leave the parts under the flow whilst doing other things but I still had to brush / agitate the parts at the end to get the really sticky grease offHaving seen on YouTube people using ultra sonic cleaners to great effect I decided to get one. I got the 15L one so it would take a cycle chainset in without issue. So far I have used it for chains and cassettes with good results once I sorted out the better settings. What I found has worked well was a water / water-based degreaser mix (about 75/25 ratio) at 40-45 Deg C and for about 20-30 minutes. This has given good resultsUsing just water for me (cold or at 40 Deg C) really did nothing and this mix with degreaser made a big difference. Also even with degreaser I got a lot better results when it was at around 45 Deg CThe good thing is that you can just put in in and leave it running. I have still needed to give a bit of a wipe / brush on small areas at the end where the dirt is very ingrained – I could put it through another cycle and it would probably remove everythingAs others have said its quite noisy, but this is inherent – it has a speaker excites a container that acts as a loud speaker.Heating the fluid takes some time but it is only a 300W or so heater. I have also not filled mine much more then deep enough to cover the components I have cleaned so far which is about 5L. So heating a full 15L tank would take a long time. As others have said in this case filling it with water from a warm kettle would help, or just turning it on for 30-40 minutes before startingI fitted a hose tail to the tap so I can drain the fluid back into a container and reuse the fluid. Its good to see a lot of gritty sediment in the bottom of the container after use as it shows its working. I wipe this out with a ragI am not sure about longevity – there are a few reviews of people using it a few times and it being broken – let’s hope they are anomalies.Bought mine when it had a discount code applied that made it a bit better value for moneyVery pleased with it so far

Works great. Cleaned my carbs many times before using this cleaner and thought they were spotless but when I put them in the ultrasonic cleaner there was a cloud of crap that came out.
