Close to perfect
I read reviews of many other shop-vac brushes and settled on this one. This is nice because it fits both the medium and small hoses of most shop vacs. Its not intended for the large 15 gallon models, but I have a 9 gallon model with the 1-7/8 inch hose, and a 6 gallon with the 1-1/4 hose, and this fits both. One complaint others had =with various brushes was that many of these units have very soft bristles. This one has medium soft bristles, but it fits my needs. If you want to have something that will vacuum dust and hair off your leather car seats and vinyl dashboards and door sills without scratching them, this is perfect. I have 3 cars with black interior, black leather seats, and we have a Golden Retriever. This allows me to use the shop-vac to remove the tons of yellow hair that float around until they find some flat black surface to stick to when ever she jumps into the car. Its also good to get rid of the dust and dirt her paws leave after a hike on a Colorado Trail, or a Dog Park. The Bristles are not as stiff as my interior-vacuum attachment that is intended for upholstery cleaning, so if you have cloths seats, and want to use this to “scrub” the cloth while you vacuum, this is not your attachment. But, if you want to clean up dust and pet hair from your leather and vinyl without leaving scratches that other attachments leave, buy one of these. It looks well built, and I don’t think the bristles will fall off like other people have seen on cheaper models. And, yes, you gotta wonder why when you buy a $100 shop vac, this tool is not part of the normal accessories included.

I got this for use with a couple of different vacs with 1-7/8 inch hoses. Its been great for cleaning in itght places where the tools that came with the other vacs are too short. This one provides another 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 inches reach over the ones that came with my other vacs. A handy addition.

It says that it is 1-1/4 inch but it is actually slightly bigger, meaning my 1-1/4 inch nozzle does not fit tight enough for it to perform it’s function. Not happy with this product.
