Major Design Flaw â Battery doesn’t even fit properly
I was excited about this cordless mini handheld vacuum cleaner since itâs designed to work with DeWalt 20V batteries, but unfortunately, itâs completely useless. While the battery slides in, it doesnât slide in far enough to make contact with the terminals. Because of this, the vacuum doesnât even power on.This is a major design flaw that renders the tool unusable. I had high hopes, but without a proper connection to the battery, itâs impossible to use. I wouldnât recommend this product unless the manufacturer addresses this critical issue. Very disappointed!

Good experience with this purchase
This handheld vacuum can be handy for those looking for something for small clean up jobs. This chamber is small so its not meant for bigger messes and such. The suction seems good on it and its nice that it comes with multiple attachments. Note that the “blower” is just the opposite side of the vacuum. This could cause you to accidentally spread a mess if you’re not careful about how to point the vacuum. If the back is close to a wall or something that can cause the air to deflect it could deflect it towards what you’re trying to sweep up. I did notice that the dewalt batteries are a little tough to get in the first time. I had to press down the eject button to get it on the first time, but after that I didn’t have too many issues. Overall I think it is a good product, but maybe a little pricey for what it is. You can get the Dewalt brand handheld floor vacuum for less than $100 which is a better investment in my experience.

Powerful small vacuum/blower for use with DeWALT 20 Volt batteries
If you are a âDeWALT guyâ, then this small, relatively light weight Ecarke DeWALT powered mini vacuum might be of interest to you. If you don’t currently own DeWALT 20 Volt power tools and batteries, then you might look elsewhere because the battery might cost more than the vacuum. As it clearly states in the headline on the literature, the battery is not included. I have found over the years that there are real benefits to standardize on a single tool brand and battery system and that you have a standard routine to maintain the batteries. Having rechargeable devices is a great savings until you forget to charge it before you really need it. With a tool box equipped with fully charged batteries that fit everything, that is not a problem. Speaking of fit, I had no problems fitting my genuine and aftermarket batteries on this vacuum. I have several small vacuums and have found that the right angle âpistol gripâ handle models are more comfortable to use than the vacuums with the in-line handles. This Ecarke vacuum running on a DeWALT 20 Volt battery has decent suction and comes with a nice assortment of accessories. It also comes with several extra HEPA filters, that are washable, so you are probably good to go for some time. The unit can also be used in blower mode to dust off things or inflate inflatables. If you need or want a relatively small but powerful and moderately inexpensive vacuum to work with your DeWALT battery system, then the Ecarke model deserves a good look.

It’s better than the tiny rechargeable units at the same price
It’s wonderful that this product uses the Dewalt batteries because I have a number of those in different sizes. This product is okay (not great) as a small vacuum and is also okay (not great) as a medium sized dust blower. The vacuum is not going to collapse a 5 gallon water jug, nor is the blower going to blow all the dirt from your driveway and leave only rocks. Both of with are misrepresented in the ad. Regarding the ads representation of loudness, the child would need to wearing ear plugs in order to remain asleep while the tool is used right next to him, because, as you can imagine by it being a vacuum, it’s fairly loud. One last item of note regarding the ad is that it states the tool has a rotatable handle. This is not true. To use the blower function you need to hold the tool backwards with the on/off button in the palm of your hand. I bring these things all to your attention because it’s product misrepresentation by marketing. If you need or want both a vacuum and a blower in the same tool this is a much better choice than the very small rechargeable air blowers that are on the market. I’ve tried those and they do neither job as well as this tool. But if you only need a small dedicated vacuum that uses Dewalt batteries there are better choices out there. The tool seems to be made well and is very easy and convenient to use as a vacuum. The vacuum chamber is also very easy to empty and wash when needed. The only manufacturing issue that I’ve found is that the batteries seem to bind just a little and take just a just little effort to mount fully for a solid lock. Perhaps this will get better as it wears with age.The reason for the three stars is the misrepresentation of the items noted above. If there was truth in advertising the product I would rate it 4 stars.all my best,dr

A true disappointment…
On the positive side, the device was exceptionally easy to assemble, and is VERY powerful. Unfortunately, that’s where the joy ends. The capture container is very small. Fully assembled, I turned on the machine and it ran for five minutes… and died. I removed the battery and checked it. It was still nearlyn full. I reinserted the battery, and tried to turn it back on. Nothing. I changed batteries, and tried again. Nothing. While the draw is powerful, it only does any good if ir remains running. Unfortunately, my hands-on experience demonstrated a poorly made unit that failed within minutes. Maybe I got a faulty unit… I can offer no better than one star.
