A Capable Cordless Leaf Blower & Vacuum Mulcher
I have been looking for leaf vacuum with a metal impeller as I imagine that the metal impeller would last longer than leaf vacuums with a plastic impeller. My current 40V leaf vacuum that I have been using for a few years works well, but the plastic impeller has noticeable wear probably due sucking up objects other than simple leaves.I was pleased to come across the SOYUS 40V Cordless Leaf Blower & Vacuum Mulcher with a metal impeller. On first impression, this product seemed to be exactly what I was looking for in a blower and vacuum. From my previous experience with a 40V vacuum, the 40V, 4Ah battery power should be more than enough power for a leaf vacuum and blower. I found the product easy to assemble and changing from blower to vacuum can take less than five minutes once you know how to disassemble and assemble the parts. Using either function of the product feels well balanced, and it is not too heavy to use.Using as leaf Blower: With the batteries installed the blower actually feels nicely balanced and easy to maneuver around edges, plants, etc. The controls are well placed and easy to use, there are four normal speeds, and a turbo function. At first, I was a bit dismayed because the highest setting (speed 4) was no more powerful than a 21V leaf blower that I have been using for some time. But at speed 4 level, the blower does do the job. For me, levels one and two barely moved the leaves, particularly on grass. However, when I decided to test the turbo mode, that is where the real power is hidden! One does not really need to use turbo mode all the time, but it is great for dislodging leaves from edges, corners, etc. But the turbo mode does wear down the batteries faster so it’s good use it only as needed.Using as leaf Vacuum: This was actually the reason I elected to order this product, to have a leave vacuum with a durable metal impeller. The bag for collecting the mulched leaves is well designed. Compared to my old leaf vacuum which blows leaf dust all over me, the bag on the SOYUS 40V Cordless Vacuum Mulcher seems to mulch and collect the leaves, but there is less dust being released by the bag, so for me this is a big plus on this product. While the vacuum does an ok job at mulching the leaves, I feel it is underpowered to do a great job with some types of leaves. I found that I needed to frequently use the turbo mode just to be able to pick up most of my leaves. I think it will work just fine when picking up small leaves, but it can be a challenge to pick up large leaves and/or leaves that fall with attached stems. I have pecan trees, and many leaves fall with long thin stems, these stems kept on getting lodged in the vacuum tube, I am able to dislodge them with a small stick, but that’s not very productive. I tried it with small leaves from a fruit tree that do not fall with stems, and it worked just fine. So, the vacuum/mulching performance of this product may vary with the leaves being picked up.The SOYUS 40V Cordless Leaf Blower & Vacuum Mulcher is a very capable product, and while vacuum/mulching function could have been better, I will note that my old 40V Vacuum/Mulcher also gets clogged with my pecan leaves and stems, thus I can’t say that the SOYUS Vacuum/Mulcher is a failure since it does a good a job with some types of leaves. The one thing that I am not a fan of, are products that note it’s a 40V product, but require two 20V batteries to achieve that advertised 40V rating. This product will not operate with just one battery, so if one of the batteries dies or develops a defect, the product is unusable.Overall, I do feel this is a very capable Cordless Leaf Blower & Vacuum Mulcher product. And considering this is actually two tools in one, I do think it is a good value and makes for a good yard tool for home use.

Great for lawn cleaning
Great for cleaning up lawns we use it to get leaves out of our flower beds and also works good for picking up small bits of saw dust and trash the battery last a long time and there is plenty of suction power

Great for yard work
This leaf blower and vacuum is really easy to use. Itâs lightweight, so I can handle it for a while without getting tired. The 5 speed options are super usefulâI use the lower speeds for small areas and higher speeds for bigger messes. The cordless design is a lifesaver, especially when moving around the yard. The vacuum works great, and the 45L bag holds a lot before needing to be emptied. Switching between blowing and vacuuming is quick and simple. Btw, Iâve also been using it to clear snow off my sidewalk, and it works surprisingly well. Itâs been a really handy tool for all seasons.
