Small detail vacuum —
I would say that this little guy would make a great “detail” vacuum. It has strong suction power but the overall diameter is about the size of a can of soup. I tried using it to clean the car carpets — while it picked up very strongly, it has a really small nozzle (about 1 inch across) so it did not work so well for larger areas — it would take days for me to clean the car carpets. But it did excel at cleaning out the tight nooks and crannies around my dashboard and the door handle areas.The only thing I didn’t care for was the filter design. The photo shows the 3 parts of the vacuum: motor/handle, filter, and debris housing around the filter. The filter is enclosed and fixed inside a plastic housing (photo closeup) and only has small areas where the air is sucked thru. A tight screen collects dust and dirt, but the user only has cleaning access in a small opening. This makes it hard to clean off the filter screen. It would be better for cleaning if the screen filter was completely removable.
