Replacement Diffuser Couldn’t Be Found for My Dryer – Until NOW!!!
I’m SO HAPPY I found this diffuser! I broke the diffuser attachment for my dryer about 18 months ago. I can’t remember where I purchased the dryer but I love it. It’s medium sized, ionic, has great power, the cool blast button plus 3 other heat settings and 2 speeds. I searched high and low for a replacement diffuser, to no avail, because no parts would fit.I tried everywhere, eventually schlepping my dryer with me to multiple beauty supply and retail stores after purchasing/returning several diffusers. I even considered buying another dryer with attachments but I didn’t want to spend the $50-$80. I can’t find mine anywhere, not even online and the others in my price range don’t compare in power or features.I can’t always leave my hair wet and I don’t always want to blow out and straighten it either so I searched YouTube for ways to air-dry my curls or use a different blow-dry technique. It was then that I saw women using this Curly Co. product and raving about its attributes. I can’t tell you who the users were but I can tell you they were so right!So I either linked through or searched Amazon for this product by name and ordered it. At first I was skeptical because it was tough to get it on my dryer barrel. But once I got it on: boom! I can quickly dry my curls even on the highest speed and heat setting without damage or frizz.It works like a charm, stores easily in my drawer while still on my dryer (I refuse to remove it) and fits in my suitcase while traveling. Even though I’m an excellent packer and pack light, I no longer leave home without my blow dryer. I’m sure you know how hotel dryers just can’t hold a candle to your own if you have a professional or semi-pro dryer.One note of caution: if you use the highest heat setting, I suggest leaving this item on the counter to cool off before placing in a drawer or closed in space with items that may melt or become scorched. I’ve had this Curly Co. Collapsible Hair Diffuser for 2 months and I couldn’t be happier. I may buy another one for travel in case I pack extra light and take a chance on a hotel dryer. I definitely recommend this product!

Love this diffuser
I originally purchased this solely as a travel diffuser since it is collapsible. I ended up loving it so much I got rid of my other diffuser and now use it full time. I’ve had the Diva Curl diffuser in the past and hated it, it fell apart quickly and made my hair frizzy. This one is so much better. It does tend to collapse a little when in use but I find it convenient when I’m drying the back of my hair, it almost conforms to your head when it happens. Love it and would purchase it again. My curls look so nice now.

I have fine, curly hair, and use a Conair dryer with attached diffuser every day at home. I purchased this collapsible diffuser to use exclusively with my travel blow dryer (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00006IV22/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_2?th=1) when traveling, and have used it a few times now. Overall, it works like it’s supposed to and takes up a lot less space compared to my every-day diffuser. Some other reviewers commented about the tight fit when putting the diffuser on. I also had a hard time with this, but once it was on there wasn’t a problem. Other commenters also mentioned the diffuser collapsing. I didn’t have a problem with this, but I tend to hold the diffuser and not the dryer while I’m drying my hair. However, it isn’t sturdy enough to lift my hair at the roots like my every-day, non-collapsible diffuser is. Pros: compact design (collapses to about an inch); light; easy to remove from dryer and collapse; diffuses the air like it’s supposed to.Cons: a little hard to fit over the dryer nozzle; not as sturdy compared to non-collapsible diffusers; not strong enough to lift the hair at the roots for drying.

I am in the middle of some much needed hair TLC and embarked on a curly journey to restore my shoulder length 3a,3b, and 3c curls. I have been using the same diffuser for about 15 years (!) and was rigging it to fit my current hair dryer (my old one came with a hair dryer I had many moons ago and I could not find a good replacement). I saw this item on Instagram and thought it would be a great answer to my problem + the added bonus of making it easy to travel with.I am VERY happy with my decision. It fits my hair dryer perfectly and stores away nicely (it also allows me to give my old, faithful diffuser a break!).The basket portion of the diffuser is generously wide, so styling is easy as it feels like it is cradling my hair. I use low heat, or no heat, and my curls come great with every use. The materials used are light, yet sturdy. Last but not least, the price.. it’s a great value for the price. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone else looking to add to their curly girl arsenal.

Not a universal fit
Definitely not a universal fit, so you will need to find a blow dryer with a smaller barrel. It does not stretch to fit bigger sizes. When you finally do get it on a dryer, works like a charm. It does collapse if too much pressure is applied which was a little annoying. But overall, MUCH better alternative when traveling so youâre not lugging a big diffuser around.

Don’t bother – Low quality, not durable
This diffuser was easy to pack and compact enough to fit in a suitcase. However, it fell apart after using it for less than three days. The part that attaches to the hairdryer cracked off completely, it just fell off. The problem would be my fault had I not followed manufacturer’s directions; however, I attached it to a hairdryer that had a slightly smaller opening than the diffuser (so it fit easily and well), and I used a cool setting (as a person should with a diffuser and curly hair anyway). None of that mattered and it broke apart anyway. Unfortunately, my trip lapsed over the refund window, so I’m out the money I paid. My advice is to try another product; however, if you decide to go with this one, try it out before you pack it away and long before the refund window so that you’re not in my situation. I’d give it a zero-star review if I could. Terribly made product that I would not recommend.

So worth it! This diffuser works amazing on my curls, I hover it over my hair when drying then hold it to my head for volume. It does collapse a little when trying to diffuse but this helps get a better angle and is also silcone which is gentle on the hair. I plan on travelling so this eill be perfect. I have a Babyliss hairdryer for size reference.

Bought this for a trip to Europe. Really really happy with it. I needed to use it slightly differently that a standard diffuser as it is silicone and too much weight on it causes it to collapse in on itself, but it didnât take long to get the hang of it. Works really well, fitted most hotel hairdryers, packed flat and small, and most importantly is very light. Would highly recommend for curly travellers!
