Goodbye dander, dust mites, dead skin cells, crumbs
So, I had no idea there was such a thing as a mattress vacuum, but was intrigued. When this stylish, one-handed operation vacuum arrived, I was impressed. First, it’s stylish with its gray body and purple accents. There is a large handle, with a button that’s reachable with my thumb to power it on. Just in front of the handle looks to be a dual-section dirt-collection canister. The lower front looks like a typical upright vacuum cleaner, like the head of a hammerhead shark, where the roller and suction takes place. The vacuum is lightweight, so it does cause much fatigue, but it has some power. When you flip it upside down, you discover it⢠utilizes dual rollers to catch more debris⢠has a glass cover over the UV light, which activates when set down flat⢠down by the wheels are a vent and what looks like a speaker ⢠the vent pushes out hot air ⢠the speaker emits ultrasonic sound wavesI used this on a couch to test its ability and filled the collection cup about 1/3 capacity. Most of it looks like very fine dust. The filter side has a metal mesh filter around a foam insert filter. I feel like this vacuum is going to get more use on our upholstered furniture, because our mattresses have sheets changed and washed regularly. Also, we use mattress pads and protectors that are also machine washable. I like the UV feature, though I’m not sure the exposure time is long enough to have much of an effect. I can’t hear at ultrasonic levels, so I’ll have to assume it’s working to vibrate more particle out of the couch, or piercing dust mites eardrums until they die, or whatever the ultrasonic is supposed to do.Occasionally, I noticed the rollers stopped moving though everything else was working. The instructions say to check for obstruction wrapped around the roller or broken belt. Neither seems to be at issue, but the “Tapping” light flashed at the same time. Turning the vacuum off and on again got it working again. I hope this doesn’t indicate some bigger issue down the road.

Picks up quite a bit of a dust
Vacuuming a bed isn’t something I thought I needed to do because I use mattress protectors and fitted sheets, but since we got a dog I find that there is more visible dust all over the house so I figured taking the extra step to clean the mattresses, and giving the couch and chair cushions and the dog beds a little extra vacuuming would help with the dust. It was surprising how much this picked up from surfaces I thought were clean. I had removed the cover from one of the dog beds and washed it a couple days prior to trying this vacuum so I wasn’t expecting it to pick up much, but less than a week after washing the cover the vacuum still picked up a significant amount of dust, likely from the inner mattress part that I am not able to wash. It told me that my bed likely has some dust and dead skin that seeps through even with a protector and that made me very glad I got this. The suction isn’t anything out of this world, it does leave behind some dog hairs that are on the surface, but the amount of fine dust in the canister is enough to make me feel like its still very much worth it, and I can just pick up the leftover hair with my regular vacuum hose or a dog hair brush. The vacuum itself is lightweight and easy to use and does come with a uv light but I don’t think that does much of anything as my understanding is that the light has to be on the surface for a certain period of time to actually sanitize and the time I have the vacuum on is not enough but its a nice addition nonetheless.

Best pet hair vacuum.
I have tried many pet hair vacuums in the past. This one is light and very easy to maneuver. Previously my other pet hair brush was only 4 inches, took forever and didnât work out as well.If your sheets get tangled then the brushes stop rotating and the TAPPING light blinks. You have to turn off the vacuum and then turn it back on for the brushes to work. This only happened when my sheets were very loose and not taught. The UV LIGHT only comes on when the two tiny rollers are depressed. This is a problem for me since I have a memory foam mattress and it doesnât depress the rollers enough for the UV light to come on. I may duct tape them closed.I have a cat and a dog who insist sleeping on my California king bed. They shed a ton of hair and this vacuum gets up 98% of the hair. I had to empty the container two times. Then I decided to tackle the blanket. This had much more hair than the sheets and filled it up three times. I was also surprised on how much dead skin and dander that was picked up.On of the worst drain cloggers for the washing machine is pet hair. I have to put a drain cleaner in my washing machine drain every two months to make sure it doesnât back up. Now I can vacuum the sheets and blankets before washing them to cut down on the amount of hair that goes down the drain. It also works well on furniture but it doesnât get the edges or the back of the couch very well due to the rollers being too far back from the front. You also get an extra sponge filter. Iâm impressed with how well this vacuum works.

Pricey, but excellent little vacuum for pet hair on couches and beds!
This Colesy Mattress Vacuum is outstanding. I was surprised how much pet hair and dust it sucked out of my mattress and couches. One of the best things about the vacuum is the dual canister that separates hair and dust which makes it a lot easier to dump out. However, it also gets full pretty quickly depending on how much pet hair you vacuumed.I’m not really sold on the UV and Ultrasonic functions as it turns on when something is super flat and firm enough to activate the sensor. Also, the short amount of time the vacuum is idling in one position is mere seconds since you’re pushing it back and forth. It’s not a feature I’d prefer but the power in this little vacuum definitely overshadows this “nice-to-have” feature. I’d honestly do without it if it made the vacuum cheaper.Overall, this thing should last a while and I love how easy it is to use, dump, and clean. Definitely recommend.

No suction
The only way debris is collected into the vac is from sheer force from the rotation bar. No suction at all.
