Great replacement battery
I ordered this to replace the battery in my garage door opener. The battery apparently failed when we had a power outage, causing the opener to beep every minute or so. This battery was surprisingly labeled as manufactured just 2 months prior to when I ordered it (12/13/2024). It works perfectly, came already 1/2 charged.If you need a replacement battery, it’s safe to order and use this one.

Easy replacement for original battery
My original battery was about five years old. We didnât think much about it until we lost power after a tropical storm. The charge was around one bar (there is an indicator on the wall unit) and it really struggled to open the door. I put this new one in and it was at 3 of 5 bars out of the box and worked ok. Once our power came back, the battery charged and is now five bars. Installation is easy. Open the light cover , unscrew the battery compartment cover, slide out the old one (can pull slowly on the wires if needed), disconnect old, connect new, and reverse the process. In fact, the hardest part was getting that cheap plastic light cover to close again.

Ordered this as the original battery in our Chamberlain garage door opener was no longer charging and keep hearing a loud auidble beep until the old one was removed. I was pleasantly surprised to discover upon opening the shipping box it’s a replacement of the original battery. The old battery is on the right and new one on the left in the photo that shows both side by side. It’s literally a 5 minute job to reopen the battery compartment to reconnect the wires and close it back up using a Phillips screwdriver. A glance at the control panel shows the battery was about 50% charged.This seems to be a good deal having gotten it at a reduced price around $54. The battery sticker indicates it was manufactured May 26, 2023. Hopefully this new battery will provide about 6-7 years of similar to the original. Time will tell but glad this battery is an actual OEM replacement and not a generic knock-off.
