The Cen-Tec Systems 60638 is a general purpose commercial dusting tool designed to fit to all industry standard 1 1/4” commercial vacuum hose end. The tapered end is easy to install and is designed to stay in place during use. The 45 degree angled neck is ideal for aligning the dust tool to the surface while leaving room for the user to easily hold and manipulate the tool. Compatible with major brands of central vac, including beam, Nutone, Electrolux, Hayden, VacuMaid, aggressor, Vacuflo, md, Canavac, Cyclovac, air Vac. The 60638 is also compatible with all major commercial canister vacuums utilizing 1.25” hose including the same brands as identified with back pack vacuums.
Durable PP construction with an internal brush guard to prevent the fill from collapsing and restricting airflow.
The dusting tool end is designed to be compatible with and securely fit traditional ABS commercial compression couplings as found on many commercial extension wands
The fill is replaceable in applications where wear is excessive making it great for clean up on construction sites or capturing fine debris like wall board dust.
Compatible with major brands of central vac with 1.25 inch diameter wands and hose ends

Larger Size Brush Prevents Bristle Collapse
This large 3-inch outside diameter brush has over an inch of inner diameter clearance so the bristles don’t collapse and block the airflow. Smaller dusting brushes suck the soft bristles inward blocking the airflow and creating a “dust dam” that keeps the dust from entering the vacuum hose.About the size: This dusting brush attachment would fit INSIDE a wand with a 1.5 in. (38mm) inside diameter, since the OUTSIDE diameter of the neck of this attachment tapers from about 1.45 in. (37mm) to about 1.55 in. (39mm). The INSIDE diameter of the dusting brush attachment is about 1.30 in. (33mm) so it won’t fit snugly with most 1.25 in. (32mm) wands unless the wands taper larger. I’m using it with a Cen-Tec Systems 34553 wand that has an outer diameter that tapers from about 31.5mm to 33mm. If it fits your wand, it’s a nice brush.

Well…..not sure what this connected to….
The outside diameter is 1-3/8 and the inside diameter is 1-1/4. It does not connect to anything I own. It is a Cen-Tec device and I have Can-Tec hoses and adapters and it still does not fit any of them. Looks like a return.

You will need to wrap in tape to get a snug fit.
This product was ever so slightly too narrow for the hose of my vacuum cleaner however, a few wraps of tape around the neck and it inserted snugly and worked fine. It seemed a little pricey but I didn’t have to leave the house to go get it. I did have to delay my project to wait for the two day delivery.

Measurement is off. I even had my engineer husband measure my vac so I could order the right size. Nope. Doesnât fit. I gave up. Very frustrated.

The brush is nice and does what I wanted. I bought this brush because it was listed when I searched for a 2″ brush because I have a 2″ ShopVac. Unfortunately I read the description to quickly and missed the notation that it fits a 1.5 nozzle. I rigged up an adapter and can now use it.

Good 1.5″ Commercial Style Vacuum Brush
As another reviewer stated, this brush has a 1.5″ (38mm) OD neck for inserting into the inside of a 1.5″ Shop-Vac hose. (Most Shop-vac “industrial / contractor” units use a 1.5″ hose. Specifically, mine is a Shop-Vac 5 Gallon 6.5 peak HP unit.) It was a bit difficult finding 1.5″ attachments, and more difficult confirming they would actually fit my vacuum. This brush works well, appears to be of high quality materials and construction and was a bargain at ~$10 compared to others I looked at.

I use this for my car, it has nice brushes to it and clean the car without scratching surfaces,Using this for areas that I need to extract dust and small debris while I don’t want to scratch (like cockpit) it wasn’t perfect fit for my DeWalt Vacuum cleaner, I used some heat and shaped the inlet a bit and it fitted nicely 🙂

I was excited about the price and the horse hair brush. Unfortunately doesn’t fit my Miele Solaris Turbo Plus vacuum so I have to return. Thankful for the great return policy at Amazon, it keeps me ordering!

The description says “Compatible with all standard backpack vacuums and dry canister vacuums” which is wrong. I have a Bissell dry canister vacuum and this attachment wasn’t compatible. The description then goes on to say that “fitting 38mm necks” which should be clarified to say that it fits attachment tubes that have an inner circumference of 38mm. Mine has an exterior one of that size and the brush didn’t fit.I’m disappointed by this purchase but luckily Amazon has a great return policy and I was able to get my money back.

This is the second brush attachment that hasn’t fit my vacuum hose. The bristles are lovely and soft, and it came quickly. But I can’t use it! I measured the diameter of my vacuum hose prior to ordering so it should have been fine. But it isn’t. And I’m sick of paying for things only to have to return them or lose my money. Be warned: even if you measure it may not fit.
