Will dry carpet cleaning destroy my soil-resist or stain-resist treatment?
No. It’s not necessary to reapply stain resistant treatments after every carpet cleaning. However, foot traffic can destroy some soil resisting treatments. Soil and stain resisting treatments should be reapplied after every two to three carpet cleanings, if the carpet is cleaned regularly. Carpet that is not professionally cleaned every 12 to 18 months may require a stain resistant treatment after each carpet cleaning.

Capture is very effective on all types and constructions of carpets and rugs. Carpets and rugs that don’t have pile but are flat instead should be cleaned by first applying the PreMist, then GENTLY brushing in the PreMist, followed by applying the powder and brushing that in. The tighter construction of berber sometimes makes penetration of the powder more difficult, so using a little extra PreMist will enhance the Capture powder’s performance.

Unbelievable!
I am not really a review writer, but I felt like this product deserved itâs due. My husband tripped up the steps with a glass of red wine in his hand. The treads are open so not only did it splash all over our brand new, one â month â old carpet, but it went between the stairs and splashed all over two newly covered white ottomans below. I was devastated. I thought I would have to recover the new ottomans and that a professional would be necessary. I remembered that our carpet retailer gave us I can of this, so I thought Iâd try that first. I was astounded when, the next morning I awoke to find that the stains had all but disappeared (on the carpet). The upholstery has taken repeat applications but is passable. I could not believe how well this cleaned everything up!

Good and effective but the quantity is less
This product is really effective in removing spot stains. I had a spot because of oil in my carpet and used stream cleaning which spread the spot to larger area. With this product, I was able to remove the spots from the spread area with out need to bolt or wipe. But the main spot still remains as there was excess oil. I sprayed this and bolted, still the spot is visible. But the can is empty before I could try more time. The product is really good, but the quantity for the price and the smell after spray are the reasons I am giving just 4 stars.

Update 4/4/19 – Can loses pressure well before product is used
Update: 4/4/19 Purchased another can of this product and had the same issue as the previous purchases. Please read all the negative reviews, they are mostly related to faulty aerosol cans. These cans appear to be defective and do not release the entire contents of the product. Once the can reaches 50%, it loses pressure and cannot spray the remaining product. Youâre stuck with a half full can of product. I contacted the manufacturer and left numerous VM, no one bothers to return calls. I contacted the seller of this product, ProFloorSource, and offered to return the can for a replacement, they didnât care either and didnât offer a refund or another can. Based on the reviews here, they are fully aware of these faulty cans and will continue to sell them. The mfg doesnât even bother to answer or return calls, so they must be aware of the issue and are unable to resolve the problem either. Long story short, there is a good chance youâll end up with a bad can, I wouldnât buy from ProFloorSource, go to Walmart or Menards to buy the product theyâre more likely to stand behind the product and offer refunds or exchanges.The product is good, however several cans have lost pressure with more than half of the product in the can. I tried contacting the manufacturer but no one answers the phone, ever. At first I thought this was a one off thing or faulty can, but now, looking at my order history, it appears to be every other can.

Wow!
Okay, I normally don’t rate products, although I do read reviews. It’s hard to tell what ones are real, but I had to share for this product. So, my daughter left a dark, green crayon on the front seat of my fairly new Toyota. I hadn’t purchased any kind of stain guard or anything for my upholstery, so when that crayon melted EVERYWHERE, I knew I could be in trouble. I took all of the crayon off, but the dye left one of the meanest, most awful stains I had ever seen. My favorite carpet cleaner from the store didn’t even touch it. I figured I was in really big trouble when the cloth I was using it to clean was coming back without any residue, yet the stain hadn’t budged. So, based on other reviews, I decided to give this product a try, not thinking I would have much luck, especially since the stain was over a week old. You can imagine my surprise when the stain started to come out with the first application! Like it says on the can, grease-based stains may require more applications and this one certainly did. I needed two or three applications, and there was a slight remnant of color in one spot, but definitely not noticeable and not nearly as bad as it had been. I think this is a great product and definitely worked. I especially liked that it cost a fraction of the cost and yet really delivered.
