This leaf catcher works great as a replacement for the original. Material and quality seem great. Actually seems to hold more than the original one.

Fits well – lasts one season
Like all of the leaf bags I have tried, they seem to start to disintegrate within a season. Be careful where the zip goes from one side to another as this seems to be a point of failure. This is at least the third one of these bags I have ordered. I am resigned to the fact that they will fail fairly frequently. One of the plusses of this bag is that the connector to the blower is slightly easier to remove when full than other replacement bags I have used. It is cheap enough to accept the lack of durability.

I liked everything about the product … better (stronger) cloth (but breathable still); a wider strap (does not cut into my shoulder when heavy); a larger bag capacity; a stronger and bigger zipper; and a second layer of material near the opening that prevents high velocity material (like pine needles here in Colorado) from ripping the bag when it enters the bag. Plus the plastic connector on the bag snaps on and off the blower easily! Quality does exist!

More durable fabric than B&D original
Heavy, durable fabric construction. Should resist tears well. However, zipper is not as long and does not appear to be as heavy duty as B&D original. Time will tell if that eventually proves to be a problem.

Worked Well, for a Short Time
I ordered this off-brand bag said to fit the model Black and Decker Leaf Hog I own, and at a lower price than the B and D offering. The product arrived quickly and in new condition and fit well onto the Leaf Hog, perhaps even better than my original bag. One shortcoming I found was that, while the Black and Decker bag’s zipper runs all the way across the end of the bag and up partway on the top of the bag, this replacement only had a zipper running on the end of the bag. This made emptying a full bag more difficult, prompting the need to pull out a few handfuls of leaves so the remaining could be shaken out. Just a minor speedbump.More concerning was how quickly the bag developed a hole. After about 15 hours of use, I noticed a hole developing where the the leaves discharge from the machine into the bag, near the plastic connection point. Although there was a soft baffle provided in the bag to help divert leaves toward the back of the bag, it quickly degraded allowing leaves and small sticks to abrade the inside of the bag where the whole soon developed. When the hole got large enough to allow my finger to pass through, my wife sewed the hole with sturdy thread, but that repair failed after another couple hours of use.After this experience, I ordered a genuine Black and Decker bag replacement which, although not perfect, has been holding up much better than this after-market product.

It’s a little small for doing any major cleanup. But for small kids it works great. Just don’t expect to clean a yard come fall without making 100 trips to empty it.

Looked like a nice replacement bag, BUT
Appeared to be well made, amazing packaging. While using the 1st day I kept feeling air and leaf dust blowing into my face. The attachment between the bag and the plastic mounting unit seemed a little wrong. The next day the bag completely blew off the mounting bracket, no way to fix! While checking out the bag itself, the fabric on the inside of the mounting unit seemed totally shredded. This fabric was worst off than my 5+ year old bag. I guess things are not always like they originally look. Very disappointed.

Disappointing durability and function
The bag looked like an excellent replacement for the worn out original. But after three uses the internal baffle that’s supposed to protect the bag was thoroughly shredded and snags incoming mulched leaves. This causes the intake to clog.The zipper is shorter than the original which makes emptying the bag quite a chore.
