Great for light cleaning
I donât recommend this for carpet. It works great on linoleum and floor mats. Itâs between a hand vacuum and a full sized vacuum cleaner.

Not good!
We have wood plank tile and this vacuum just moved most of the dirt around. Not enough suction for bigger particles and pet hair. What it did pick up would settle around the built in crevice tool and would dump out on the floor when removing the head to empty the canister. Poor design and quality. It’s small and lightweight, but it really doesn’t perform.

The Black and Decker Name
This is a revised review: We purchased this product because of of the name that has never disappointed before. When Black and Decker contacted us with regards to the problem we found with the machine we purchased, and offered us a replacement or refund I shouldn’t have been surprised. Their name alone has always been an excellent product through my 66 years of life. This restored my faith and confidence in Black and Decker. It’s hard to find a good reputable company anymore in this 21st century. I am pleasantly surprised that their integrity has stood the test of time. I will always continue to trust Black and Decker and know that they will always make their products right for their consumers. People my age know their name well and they remain as reputable as ever. If the product doesn’t perform just kindly let them know. You will not be disappointed.

This is by far my favorite purchase of the year, it is top quality and such a rare gem!
The suction Quality is out of this world amazing! Now this kind of vacuum is absolutely not made for high-pile carpet or carpet in general really. This is for hardwood floors, ceramic tile, decorative concrete, etc. so do not expect it to work on high pile carpet thatâs not what this is made for. As a professional cleaner of 15 years, I have used many a handheld/featherweight vacuum, including shark and Dyson and let me tell you the $38 I spent on this black and Decker was worth every penny and then some. This little gadget has changed the game and really helped my back out! Also, letâs remember that they have so many adorable colors to choose from so not only is it an adorable aesthetically pleasing cleaning utensil, but it is lightweight easy to use and gets the job done better than any handheld Iâve used.

Awesome purchase
It came a week ago. Just used the other day .easy to put together. The cord is super long. Live in a apartment. Reached every room with out having to up plug and re plug closer. The power is amazing.the only thing is throw rugs are immediately sucked up .the rug has to be nailed down and easy to empty.very impressive. I haven’t used as a hand held yet. This machine is great. And for the price.
