Mostly Indestructible
I wasn’t too sure because of the reviews, but there was a sale, so I bought it.It comes with an easy-install mount that keeps it out of the way.It cleans up hair and dust quite well. It is not a feather duster. It has an attachment that removes most dust and sucks it up.It cleans up dog food, even slightly wet dog food. It cleans corners. It cleans up bits of speaker wire, sawdust, food, etc.Yesterday there was a catastrophe in the kitchen involving water. _It vacuumed up all the water_. I accidentally left it overnight. It leaked a bit on the counter, but held most of it. I thought it would be ruined.Nope, it still sucks (and that’s good). There’s no damage to the engine because the engine is hermetically sealed in plastic and has a water-resistant sponge filter. It holds a charge for days. To all the negative reviewers, huh!?!? and charge your battery.Buy it!

Small and convenient.
I use this mostly in my kitchen when I donât want to drag out my big vacuum cleaner. Works perfectly.

Replaced an older Dustbuster
I grew up with them and as an adult, I have always had a Dustbuster in my homes. I have four small dogs, hardwood and tile floors. The previous Dustbuster started to die, would lose power after using for a few minutes. I had it for 5 years. This replacement was also my Christmas present, so I got the super powered wet/dry version. Can’t say I’m as overly impressed as I thought I would be.Yes, it has better suction. I like the wet pickup option. No, I don’t like that dog hair quickly clogs the machine. I usually have to stop and empty a few times when I am cleaning around the baseboards. The way the unit’s dirt up is made, you have several steps to empty as opposed to the older version. It was easier. Also, do not like how it hangs on the wall. I put the new DB where my last one went in the kitchen. You have to contort how you plug the cord into the DB and as a result, the cord is always falling out of the hanger that is screwed into the wall. I guess they want people to charge it standing up on a base more that the “old fashioned way”.I guess I just feel companies like Black and Decker are trying to improve on their tried and true products, but are taking away simple features that made people love to use them to begin with. I like the simplicity of the Dustbuster. It helps me clean around baseboards and use it after I sweep instead of a dust pan. It’s my go to cleaning machine.

Excellent little vacuum – does Wet & Dry – convenient
This little guy works well for its size – sucks up dust and debris. And a big plus is that it can handle spills with no problem – which is the main reason I bought it.E.g. a spill on a carpet is hard to mop up. So i use this to suck out as much liquid as possible. Then I finish off with paper towel.Works great for the car too!

Not an upgrade
This looks very similar to our 2019 10.8V Dustbuster;we figured added wet/dry capability would be an improvement.Unfortunately foam filter area is *much* smaller than large nylon mesh filter used on our previous model;it gets clogged quickly, requiring disassembly and cleaning far more often. In addition it is much louder, although suction seems no better.Overall a big disappointment. : (

Makes a bigger mess and shocks you in the process
This thing is terrible from design to function. I bought it b/c I wanted a wall mounted dustbuster. What they don’t tell you is that the mount does not charge the unit. You have to plug a wire into the handle each time you use it. Not the end of the world but not great design. More importantly, the filter doesn’t seat well inside the unit so it leaks air around the filter and consequently dust. This pic is after trying to vacuum up some dust. As you can see, its all over the “outside” of the unit. It threw dust everywhere when we tried to use it and as a bonus, the charging port (located right on the handle) continuously shocks your hand while you use it. Its cheap garbage.

Powerful and easy to use
Love this puppy! Powerful and holds a charge. I’ve even used it to scoop up the lizards that sneak into my lanai. I can vacuum them up and place them back outside without harming them. It also works well on my car seats and interior. I use it to clean up by my pool. All I have to do is rinse it out and let it dry.
