I love my new handvac! It looks really nice – it’s not ugly at all. And it works well – sucks everything up that I’ve wanted it to so far!

Works well, but…
First, it has good suction and like the attached tools. This item’s charger plug connects to dustbuster rather than the stand which is not convenient as you have to unplug it when grabbing to use. My past Black and Decker’s power cord went from the outlet to the stand so you never had to disconnect from the actual unit. It is Very Loud.

It’s Only Good to Suck Dust! Money Wasted.
I expected a brand name like this to be like the one I bought thirty, 30, years ago: Powerful! Sadly, it has suction about as good as me inhaling. I re-read the tiny instructions and did as directed to get started and to no avail. Bad purchase. Absolutely not worth the money. And the design. Why would you have a brush sticking out forward on the head of the vacuum? Makes about as much sense as having a floor vacuum cleaner with the head pointing outward instead of down to the floor. I also was unable to contact B & D via an email. Unbelievable. Not having any suction defeats the purpose of a vacuuming. I wanted something with power that I could clean small jobs quickly and thoroughly. Maybe B & D meant to sell this as a kid’s toy!?

Great replacement unit!
Had same model and after years of use the battery life was failing so it was easier and cheaper to just get another unit. Very happy, thanks!

Not what I expected from a Black+Decker product
It has great suction for about five minutes, but the second the filter gets clogged it shuts off. I hope that future iterations of this solve how quickly this happens, and the battery dies quickly too. Doesn’t recharge quickly, so if you’re going around and dust busting a few places around the house, you’re SOL.

Portable
This is my second one and I just love it! I have it under the kitchen table near the outlet. Once I use it, I just recharge and then unplug after. It’s light weight; easy to carry around. I use this for my car, the pet area and under areas that a vacuum cleaner can’t get into. It’s easy to clean. You just pull it apart and just wash one part with soap and water. I just wipe with a wet cloth for the other part.

So far I am happy with the suction, and the battery life. It needs to be recharged. Great for sucking up small to medium messes *not liquid mess though.
