Worth every penny
Over the past six to seven years, we have been thoroughly satisfied with our Dyson V10 vacuum cleaner. However, approximately a year ago, the battery began to deteriorate rapidly. Due to the high cost of Dyson vacuums, we have been forced to make do with the vacuum until a replacement battery becomes available.After conducting some research, I discovered that it was relatively straightforward to replace the battery in a Dyson vacuum. This made it an appealing option, and I decided to give it a try. The installation process was remarkably simple, requiring only three screws and eliminating the need for any wires.Once the battery was replaced, we were immediately impressed with the improved performance. The replacement battery provides significantly longer runtime, doubling the duration of the previous battery. Additionally, the batteryâs performance is superior to that of the original Dyson battery.In conclusion, we are pleased with our decision to replace the battery rather than purchasing a new Dyson vacuum. This approach has proven to be a cost-effective solution that has allowed us to continue using our vacuum cleaner without interruptions.

It was easy to install and my machine is working GREAT!!!
To my surprise – it was the correct battery and I was able to remove the old one and place the new one. This was with the help of a YouTube video.

Stopped working in a month
I had high hopes for this battery given the reviews. I was wrong. Itâs a piece of junk that stopped working in a month. Amazon refunded me since it was barely outside of the 30 day return period. Luckily I kept the genuine Dyson battery. I put it back and the vacuum works fine. The original Dyson battery life is shorter but at least it works. Do not buy this terrible product.

Saved me $$$s in repairs
I was about to pay 200-300 to repair my Dyson V10 until I was curious to see if I could DIY this. I immediately called the place that quoted me and picked up the vac and easily repaired it myself!Iâm not a vacuum pro but I am willing to try if it looks easy- and boy was this an easy repair after seeing a YouTube tutorial. I didnât even mess up the machine thankfully it all fit perfectly.Battery is back to its prime days! I look forward to using my Dyson another 4 or so years longer hopefully!

UPDATE:Was able to exchange the defective battery. The replacement works perfectly. Still leaving at 4 starts because this seems to be a common issue with this item based on other reviews! They need better QC!Original review:Will be returning this as Amazon isnât even giving me the option to exchange it. Battery fit on my Dyson but when triggered it doesnât turn on the vacuum. I fully charged the battery before using. Video to show the battery lighting up but the vacuum bit turning on.

Works as advertised
This battery was used lightly in a portable vacuum and charged properly but failed suddenly after 3 months. Charger shows battery fully charged but would not power vacuum. New battery from seller I have used previously worked perfectly. In the past, their batteries have lasted on the average of 2 years. Might be a fluke failure but no response from the seller after I notified them.Tried again to charge battery and it now works normally. Not sure what happened before.

Easy and quick
Why buy the name brand for 3x the cost when this one works just as well, and comes with two extra filters.It seems to be on par with the original battery when bought brand new.
