Lightweight, easy to use & clean, works great
We have a small dog that is pad-trained as well as an indoor cat, so we have occasional pet messes. The worst is urine. I have never owned an upright carpet cleaner before and decided to finally try one, and I am so happy with this purchase.It comes in a few pieces, but snaps together easily. It is SO lightweight, I wondered how is this going to be effective! I watched the how-to videos on the Bissell website and found using the machine and cleaning it afterward to be very simple. The solution I used was Bissell Professional Pet Urine Eliminator + Oxy Carpet Cleaning Formula. It has a fresh scent that is not overpowering and doesn’t linger afterwards.I tackled a problem area in one room with urine stains and odor. I went over the worst part twice and only once along the outskirts. I also targeted a few old stains just to see if those would come up. I went over the whole thing on dry until no more water came up. Then I set up a box fan overnight to make sure it dried thoroughly. (We live in a humid climate.) By morning, it was completely dry, and the carpet looked *and felt* almost like new. It was fluffed up and soft again, and there is ZERO odor. I have my room back!This machine meets all of our needs and comes at an affordable price. The solution will also last a long time because it is so heavily concentrated. I can’t recommend this enough.
