Works Well
I had three dark round stains on carpet. Had tried two other products that did mot remove the stains and left larger halo stains around the original stains. I tried these stain lifting pads and was thrilled when, after 40 minutes, the stains magically disappeared. No strong smell. No residue. Pet friendly. I will keep these on hand from now on.

Impulsive purchase that has blown me away!
This was an impulse purchase during Prime Day and now Iâm obsessed! Fostering puppies = potty accidents galore and I donât always have it in me to scrub for five minutes or to haul out the carpet cleaner. These are so cool – open, place, stomp, go back to whatever you were doing. Strong fragrance when opened but it disappears quickly. They definitely work quickly on a fresh mess but when left on overnight they pull sooooo much gunk out of my 18 year old carpet. Itâs gross and awesome all at once.

These work great for very small stain areas. Just step on it to activate. I like the fresh smell of these.

The Magical Rainbow Unicorn of Dog Pee Removal
I don’t understand what witchcraft Bissell puts in these things, but they work so. well. Annoyingly well – I hate paying this much money because a furry little Houdini keeps breaking through the baby gate to mark her territory upstairs.
I have tried every ‘guaranteed to make the smell and stain go away’ product on Amazon’s top 20, and this is the ONLY one that has passed the blacklight test. You can see in the photo, the clean-cut corner of where the pad just erased the stain. Phosphorescent magic! The odor removal is the best I’ve encountered as well.
It’s good business sense that Bissell doesn’t just sell this solution on its own, because the size of these pads necessitates that you use several to eliminate a stain from even a smaller dog. I’ve come up with a process to stretch the usage as much as possible because stomping and leaving for 30 minutes is definitely NOT enough, even on a fresh stain.
My un-scientific, definitely not Bissell-Approved Process:
1) Stomp the stain pad over the densest part of the stain, then stack on top of the pad accordingly a: towel/heavy book/hand weight or other super heavy object. This ensures the stain pad keeps in good contact down to your carpet pad. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is my favorite, but you do you…
2) Leave that set up alone for at least 6 hours and up to 12.
3) There’s usually plenty of solution left in the stain pad after that…I check with the blacklight and my poor beleaguered nose that there’s no pee transferred into the pad. And then I reuse it. A LOT. I have a frankly baffling rotation where I will use the pad a 2nd/3rd/4th time on the outer permiters of stains, previously treated stains that need another round, or lesser stains until the pad is hopeless dry. Even then, I sometimes re-wet it and start all over again because of the aforementioned high price/tiny size.
One last note on this novel of a review – If the pee stain is fresh, soak up as much as humanly possible first. The spread down into the carpet pad is going to be significantly bigger than you see on the surface so get a giant towel or use a carpet cleaner to suck up as much of the nasty as you can before using the stain pad. If it’s an old stain, just resign yourself to getting intimate with your carpet and using your light and your nose to make sure you’ve gotten deep enough/wide enough to remove all traces of scent.
Or, of course, you could also just buy a better baby gate and keep the adorable little fiends away from your carpet. But where’s the fun in that. 🙂 Happy stain fighting!

Works decent on carpet stains
#1– I hate carpet these days. Some old stains seem to come back every year, but these pads work good and are easy to use.

BEST STAIN LIFTER!
This is a great stain lifter for animal stains in carpet (pee, poo, puke). It even works on old stains. I found a piddle spot on my carpet and blotted up as much as possible with paper towels. Then I put the Stomp and Go on it and let it sit for a couple of hours. You can see in the picture the yellow on the Stomp and Go that was sucked into it. The stain and smell were totally removed. You just let it air dry. I have 2 dogs and there are occasional accidents. I will always keep these on hand they work so well. I do clean up as much as I can with paper towels or baby wipes (for solids) first.

Only received 19/20
I love this product and have been using it on and off for years. I received my order of a 20 pack today, but only 19 were in the box. I’m disappointed with the QC and am unable to get a partial refund through Bissell as they’re support only focuses on vacuums and equipment.

Removed stains quickly if you catch the urine while itâs still wet. Not great on dried stains. Then you need a carpet shampoo but this gets the fresh stains out quickly

I have been searching for a user friendly pet stain remover for YEARS!!! I saw these on a BuzzFeed post and came to read reviews on here. Ask the reviews were so good I just had to try!!
**I DO NOT REGRET IT!!!!**
These work better then the carpet cleaner I had!! I put them on the oldest stains I have and after about 12 hours I lifted them to check and POOF!! Stains be gone!!! The only downfall is they are a little small so if you have a larger stained area you might need to put a few down side by side. But hoooollllllyyyy do they ever work!!! I highly recommend!!!
