Broke after 8 months

A step up from a mop?
I’m not sure. I bought the corded Spinwave mainly to polish a new vinyl tile floor. And have used it since for routine floor cleaning. In some ways the simple Libman floor mop with a big microfiber pad did a better job. I’d vacuum first then mop. With the spinwave I vacuum first but then have to vacuum again after using it as it takes debris that I missed and spits it out with its centrifugal force whereas the large flat pad of the Libman trapped that stuff and could be easily rinsed off to keep going. The floor does look nice after doing the three passes, but doing two passes with the Libman was more convenient. Both types of pads can be tossed in the washing machine and come out nice and clean. I bought the corded Spinwave b/c I worried about the cordless one breaking down and how to replace the battery at some point.

Scratched the heck out of my floors!
This Spinwave mop was great at first, since it rotates and actually scrubs the floors. I bought this to replace my Bona mop that I had to push around and manually scrub my entire house.However, the Spinwave often takes off on its own and starts to hop onto my rugs or my feet, like itâs possessed. Itâs crazy. So you must have full control of it and make sure itâs not sideways or it will go nutso.The BIGGEST reason for the low rating:I noticed one day that one of the screws underneath the pads was sticking out after I had moppedâ¦ and I realized that it had made HUNDREDS of tiny little scratches. ALL OVER my wood floors. SWEET. Thanks for ruining my floors, Bissel!

Since You Have To Clean The Floor Anyway…
Why not make it a little easier and more fun? Get a spare set of pads so that you can get lots of floor clean on the single charge of the unit.

Good for quick spills and polishing
This unit works pretty well as a surface polisher and small spills on high gloss marble tile floors. We have a Labrador that leaves spots and drippings from treats, drool, and life’s mishaps. This unit does a very good job polishing the floors to a high gloss with little to no smears or streaks.
