Best Vacuum EVER!
I did extensive research on vacuums for pet hair and no tangling of the brush roller or clogging up all the time. This Bissel came up as the top pick, but I still continued my search and used it as a comparison. I purchased it based off functionality, features, reviews and brand.Setup was so easy! It is a little heavy, but don’t let that deter you! This vacuum is dynamite and a powerhouse! The light is bright and really lights your path. I have 3 cats and had a thin layer of fuzz on my carpet that my other vacuum could not pick up. I only vacuumed less than half of my livingroom and what a difference! All the hair and fuzz were picked up. I filled the dustbin! I emptied it easily, but still needed to reach in for a couple of fuzzballs. That was a little inconvenient, but small potatoes compared with the performance. Price was a little higher than I normally pay, but the features and power This has makes it worth it! Bissell also supports pet charities, so my purchase helps feed and care for other pets.If you have pets who shed, you NEED this vacuum! The accessories are a bonus for stairs, walls, baseboards and furniture!

Incredible. Why did I wait?
This is the ultimate machine for pet owners. Iâve been looking for years for this type of machine. Per hair pick up with one pass, lights everywhere, lightweight base that lifts off and I carry it everywhere. Amazing upholstery tool, and the lit cracks and crevices tool that converts into a dust brush with suction is GOLD. Iâm amazed. Iâm thankful for this Black Friday sale that made me take the leap. Iâve been vacuuming for hours because Iâm still amazed. It even brings color back to items & rugs you didnât know were dirty or dusty. Itâs increÃble. Donât wait. An investment Iâll never regret.,

Easy to maneuver
I like the clear cover over the brush so I can see it’s working. The head light really show the dust and debris on the hard wood floors. Taking the handle out to use the attachment is smooth and easy. It glides and feels like it is self propelling but not dragging you along behind it. The corner suction and along the wall is not so great, but the attachment on the pull out handle works fine for those edges. The brush doesn’t get hair wrapped around it! Easy to dump the container and clean.

Lightweight and effective!
I bought this after having the same Dyson for 20 years. Holy cow, vacuums, at least this one, have gotten lighter in 20 years! This vacuum was easy to put together, and is so lightweight, itâs really easy to move wherever itâs needed.Itâs really effective on carpet, rugs, and hard floors (once you turn the brushes off). I just moved into a new apartment and itâs been great for vacuuming small spaces, and the cord is super long. I can vacuum a good chunk of the apartment without having to switch the cord, which is super nice. Additionally, it picks up cat hair really well.We got this on sale, which was great, but it really is a nice vacuum. I guess weâll see if it holds a candle to the Dysonâs longevity, but I will say, the new vacuum is way more effective than its geriatric predecessor.

Great for pets!
This vacuum is great for homes with pets. We have porcelain tiles floors. There are cats add dogs, plus a doggie door. The vacuum has lights on the front so you can see the hair and dirt. The suction is strong and picks up everything! The front swivels so you can get under the table and around things. It is lightweight, but seems to be well made. It looks good and performs well. I highly recommend this vacuum!

Powerful and Convenient
I bought this mainly for two of its features – cord reel and tangle free brush. I first bought this in 2020 and after 4 years of good use, it gave out. True to its word, it never had hair wrap around the brush. It’s not bulky and easy to use. The suction is powerful. While I wish it lasted longer, i enjoyed using this vacuum. I bought the same one again.

Not for REALLY hairy dogs
I bought this vacuum March 2020, and I’m now shopping for a new one. This was a great little vacuum for a while, but often I had to limit my expectations when cleaning with it. I own 2 dogs, one is a rough collie and the other is a double coated mix, and between the two of them it only takes about 2 days to have tumbleweeds of hair. This vacuum does a great job picking up hair on carpet, but when it comes to sucking up tumbleweeds, it clogs very easily. Usually you have to pick them up by hand or manually unclog the intake if you pick up one that is too big. Kind of a pain when I’m trying to vacuum under the couch and the bed. I also have a pet parrot who throws his food everywhere, so it does an OK job of picking up crumbs and things like that, but the suction isn’t horribly strong on the hose. When vacuuming, especially on hard floors, if you don’t remember to turn off the brush it will kick all crumbs back into your ankles, so I often just use the hose on most things. Also, because of the length of my collie’s hair and the thickness, I often would have to unscrew the bottom panel and manually scrub dirt and cut out hairs to make sure the suction would be as effective as possible. The brush did tangle a few times, and I had to replace the belt once, but otherwise it would still spin. Cleaning the container is a pain and pretty gross, you have to reach your hand in if your dogs have long hair because it will catch at the top. I probably spent more time fixing or cleaning this vacuum than I have cleaned with it, but when it did clean it was really effective. After about 1 year the hose started to break at ‘pressure points,’ so the webbing between each little ring on the hose would split and create a hole, which would reduce suction even further. I usually would super glue these shut (no other repairs held) but every couple of weeks I find a new one, and it would eventually get to a point where the hose is just one block of glue and will not bend or stretch at all. The nature of the hose is also not easy to replace, and honestly I don’t have the patience to take my vacuum of all things to a repair shop for every inconvenience.I won’t lie, I was probably pretty rough with this appliance but Bissell is pretty much the best brand out there for pet hair. Unfortunately, I typically get about 3 years out of any vacuum I buy, but I imagine this will last a lot longer with shorter hair shedders.

Out of the box it was easy to put together, the construction seems of good quality, and it’s much quieter than the vacuum its replacing. After one use:Out of the box: It did a great job in pulling tons of cat hair (I have 3) out of the carpets, and the accessory upholstery brush worked pretty well on some fabric chairs and my couch. In my small dining room alone it pulled two full tanks of dust and hair out of the carpet with none clogging the brush roller. The accessory hose is a little bit short, and kind of awkward to maneuver (with the upholstrey tool you have this 2.5 foot long solid wand on three feet of hose connected to the bottom of the vacuum) but that could also be helpful in reaching higher places and vacuuming out corners and crevices. The accessories seem pretty good. The light on the crevice tool is a little bit cheesy (single LED powered by watch batteries) but still kind of nice to have. The auto cord winder is nice, but I feel like to get the auto winder, I gave up about 10ft of cord length, which would have been nice to have too.Seems a bit mediocre on the hardwood floors, but I haven’t had a chance yet to give it a full fair test.So far I’m very happy with this vacuum, it does exactly what I bought it for (removing copious amounts of dust and cat hair from carpet) and does it well. The accessories and the cord winder seem good right now and for the price I’m happy with the purchase. As time goes on I’ll update the review, especially if anything breaks or goes wrong. The vacuum I replaced was a hoover pet pro, and it did a fantastic job for almost 10 years before getting old and tired. Lets see if this one does as well.

I never thought Iâd write a review praising a vacuum but this is so worthy! I have 4 cats so needless to say we see a lot of cat hair around the house. One pass over with this vacuum and my area rugs looks as good as the day we bought them; I havenât seen them so clean in ages. The carpeting on the stairs, where my cats love to sleep is also restored to its original beauty.Other reviews mentioned itâs not good on bare floors and I do agree but I have a robot vac for that, this one is solely for getting the cat hair out of our carpets and upholstery. I couldnât be happier!

Iâm super impressed with this vacuum. The power it has to pull up dog & cat hair off of thick carpet is incredible. I love the retractable cord and the little lights on it that help you see in the nooks and crannies. Itâs a bit heavy and bulky but if you want something with power that can pull up the hair and really give your carpets a deep clean, this is the vacuum you need

My only complaint is the bristles on one of the attachments were squished. Otherwise so far so good. I used it once and it worked well. I bought this cuz I have long hair and it always got tangled in my last vacuum cleaner.

Easy to use and has great suction. The retractable cord is brilliant! Itâs super light tho, so using the detachable tools causes this machine to tip over easily.
