Customers say
Customers find the vacuum cleaner works well and has multiple attachments. They appreciate its lightweight design and ease of use. However, some customers have reported issues with the battery life, saying it doesn’t last long enough to clean a small house with one carpeted room. There are mixed opinions on suction power, cleaning ease, value for money, and how well it picks up pet hair.

Great chair –
Great on carpet and hardwood
This is a great product when itâs comes to being cordless and powerful. The led has shown me dog hair from my husky that I was not able to see on the carpet and was able to gather all the hair. Same with the hardwood floor itâs a better option than sweeping have hair scattered all over the place. The only issue is the capacity of the container but makes up for its power and portable such as cleaning dog hair from a personal car.

Really sucks!!
I had another brand of a stick vacuum and it was driving me crazy not being able to vacuum the whole house before it died. This one lasts longer and has a real rug rotating head that does a better job!

4 years old and still going strong
My only complaint about this is that even brand new the battery runs out fairly fast. Itâs strong and picks up everything my broom would normally miss, itâs easy to empty and to deep clean (which I just did for the first time in 4 years). Not meant to pick up big things though, itâs gotten clogged right where the hose bends a couple times. But no issue picking up regular messes and pet hair, I use it over tile where all the dust gets stuck on the grout, on hardwood, around the litterbox, on rugs- never had any issues doing its job. It is a little heavy, unfortunately thereâs no convenient place for me to install the wall charger so it has to be wedged between things in just the right way because it slides and falls over easily. In a studio or small apartment this completely replaces a regular sized vacuum- just wished the battery lasted longer.

Updated August 2020 – avoid this vacuum as it doesn’t last…
Updated – Aug 2020I cannot recommend this vacuum anymore. It has too many issues with debris becoming clogged at the transitions between the components and just doesn’t work good enough after 10 months of ownership.Vacuum developed an ever growing tear in the vacuum tube at the head causing most debris to get stuck there and preventing the rest of the vacuum from working. This was caused by NORMAL wear and tear in less than one year. I don’t vacuum up glass or rocks – just pet hair and regular stuff. It is a the floppy head and it gets pressure put on it from moving the vacuum, but it really should last longer for the price. The vacuum itself is not easily cleaned and needs to be disassembled to get into all the nooks and crannies, but you’ll end up spending more time cleaning your vacuum than vacuuming.Quite good if you have pets/doggos with longer hair.We have a border collie who sheds a bit, and tracks the outside dirt into the house.PROSRoller brush doesn’t get clogged with pet hair. This is mostly due to how thick the brush roller is – our border collie dog hair will not wrap all the way around so it passes freely into the collecting chamber.Cordless and decent battery life – we can get most of the house swept up with one charge on full power. You can empty the canister without having to remove parts of the vacuum (this is an issue with the shark models). The bright LED headlights – I thought this was a throwback gimmick. But it functions so well – especially on hardwood. You can easily see where you need to vacuum, and where you have. You could easily vacuum in the dark, without power. It’s almost fun to vacuum seeing how much visibly cleaner the floor is.CONSWill not stand on it’s own, and falls on the ground while leaning.Fumbly and unsatisfying canister removal process. Sometimes it is easy, sometimes it is difficult. Not many markings to show button release, or portray information. It feels unweildly and cumbersome – you need to make sure you put the vacuum in a corner of a room or counter, because it will slide and fall.Clunky charging cord and a bit more space is required to store it, charge it, and access it. And if you don’t want to drill holes in the wall for the wall hanging option – you will have to get used to the ‘charging lean’…Fairly heavy – it can feel like you are shoveling snow if you go against the carpet grain. Not sure how fancy wood floors would hold up to the stiff brush, might scratch it, but if you can afford fancy floors you can probably afford a fancier Dyson vacuum. Will post updates as we use it more or if components fail. (Which they have)Collection squeegee on the canister is a blessing and a curse. On one hand, it clears off a lot of the dust and other crap that might clog the metal filter. But unfortunately hair has ended up under the rubber squeegee gasket and I don’t see a way to clean that other than pulling hairs out one at a time (usually breaking them and then they end up under the squeegee forever), or getting a new canister. The tube connecting the head to the handle is Triangular. I don’t know why – and I don’t know why the back portion has the tip of the triangle – providing much less friction as it only connects to the resting surface in a tiny way. This make sit so you cannot rest it on anything with out it sliding and falling. I don’t know why designers did not rotate the tube so it is flat on the back and it has more friction with a surface – or a rubber backing to help with this sliding problem?NotesI was hesitant because so many of the reviews were these “Vine Reviews” where they get the vacuum for free. Too many were positive and I do not trust that sort of marketing. This is why I am writing my own review – so others know real people purchased this product with their real money and I was happy enough with my purchase to rate this vacuum with a positive review. It was Purchased for $299 – and I feel at that price it was very much worth the price. For the $399 price – it seems a little underwhelming. I am mostly concerned about such a large price discrepancy for no reason listed (supply and demand, a sale, holiday pricing, etc). A product randomly fluctuates in price by $100 is crazy to me. That on top of how many versions there are now is a real bummer. We also tried the Shark X40 DuoClean cordless model, but it did not work well with long pet hair, it wrapped around the rolling brush and got stuck everywhere. We returned that and then tried this Bissell ICON and are much more happy with this Bissell.

It’s pretty great!
If you have pets or kids or a husband you need this!! I got it on sale on Amazon for 200 and some change and it was totally worth it. I use it around my cat litter box, the hamster cage, and in bathrooms where my hair and my husband’s beard clippings dwell. This sucks everything right up! Now listen; this vacuum I wouldn’t recommend as a daily whole house vacuum. The battery doesn’t last long enough for that, and the suction isn’t enough for a deep carpet clean. This bad boy is PERFECT for small quick messes like around cat boxes and bathrooms or in a dryer’s lint trap. It is also exceptional at getting up fine beach sand as we bring that in daily. I use it every morning for quick touch up cleans and it’s perfect for that. It would be spectacular in a camper/RV as well! All of the attachments store nicely together in a very secure and easy to mount wall piece. I also use it to vacuum my daughters fluffy rug in her room since my Dyson is too powerful for that and tries to eat it. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone wanting quick jobs or pet messes, not so much whole house cleanliness as I said before. I bought it in 2020 approximately one year ago and haven’t had any issues thus far.

Great lightweight suction power
This is exactly what I wanted. Between, me, my sheltie, and my cat, there is a lot of hair in my house. Robovacuum helps with in between cleanings but I wanted to be able to get the hard to reach areas. ICONPet has amazing suction power, is lightweight and long which makes it much easier to walk around with it and switch to a smaller brush when cleaning upholstery or edges.

I like some things about this vacuum. I like that it is portable no cord, it has a light showing you the stuff on the floor, easy to empty and clean. Now the things I am not happy with are the weight of it, its cumbersome, it doesn’t pick up all the pet hair off the rug, it has a real mickey mouse way of putting the battery onto the charger (not easy to do if you have the charger mounted).I would not buy it again. I must say tho customer service is great.

Good overall to do minor to mid cleanup, convenient to have. Battery last quite a while.
Amazon Customer –
Bought this a few weeks ago after we had purchased a Hoover cordless at the beginning of the year. And return the piece of crap! This is a little heavier to carry up and down stairs but itâs worth it for the suction. The battery only lasts about 1/2 hr but at least it picks up and doesnât shoot everything out when I pick it up to move it. And we also love the light on the bottom for darker days. So far we are pretty pleased with it.

It look good and work fine for 3-months, however in the past few days it quit on me. I went to authorize dealer and repair shop and was told that electronic components is toasted and there is nothing they could do about. Poor quality stay away from this brand!

This is a well build stick vacuum. Good run time. Easy operation. Definitely picks up the dirt. Easy to change attachments. Easy to clean the filter and empty the canister. Only downside I’ve heard about it it the canister, you have to be careful with when you take it off and put it on. Can crack if you aren’t careful doing it.
