The Bissell BigGreen Commercial OR101H ProBag upright vacuum has a 12″ cleaning path, Comfort-grip handle, magnet bar, and 870-watt motor. This upright vacuum cleaner is better suited for cleaning carpets than typical canister vacuums and takes up less space for storage. The vacuum is designed with top fill disposable bag. A roller brush with four bristle strips moves debris toward the vacuum inlet for cleaning. The magnet bar helps prevent small metal objects such as staples from harming the motor. The vacuum fan is reinforced for durability. The metal hood has V-shaped motor vents for air circulation, and the front housing is clear so that blockages can be spotted. A heat overload protection system helps prevent damage to the motor if the vacuum bag is full. The vacuum head can be adjusted to six positions to accommodate different flooring surfaces. The chrome hood provides access to the motor and has smooth contours that enable it to be wiped clean. The foot release pedal is made of steel, which is a rigid metal that is resistant to rust and wear. Rear wheels help facilitate transport. Excellent no-frills commercial vacuum cleaner
This vacuum is fantastic if you just need an easy low maintenance vacuum. It uses hepa bags which are a huge plus with dust retention. It also has a magnet built into the front that keeps items that may damage the fan out of the motor. It does use rubber belts that need to be changed fairly often but it is super easy with no tools required. It also isnât all that loud compared with other vacuums with most of the noise coming from its powerful airflow moving through the machine.

After 15 minutes the motor began to screech
I am returning this vacuum because I do not anticipate it will last very long. After 15 minutes of use on a mix of heavy traffic carpet by the front and back doors and laminate flooring throughout the rest of the house, several problem began and I shut the machine off. The first problem was the motor began to screech which indicated either a bad bearing or a bad bushing. I removed the metal drive belt cover to see if anything got caught and nothing was there. But I did notice the right side metal lock had backed away from the tab on the cover. When returning it to the lock position there was no contact tension to hold it in place. Also noticed the rubber seal underneath the belt cover had peeled off the narrow end. Suspect this seal prevents suction leaks when properly installed. Also noticed the two different plastic parts that the seal presses upon were not even and one corner was higher than the other which would also affect the even compression of the seal.In preparation for returning this unit to Amazon the instructions were to remove all labels from the box. I discovered that the box itself had originally been used previously for a different model of Bissell and one of the labels on it said:Ship from:Edmar Corportaion1580 Holladay Rd,Cookeville, TN 38506One of the tenants at this address is Edmar Floor Care and they repair broken vacuums.Thanks to Amazon for the no-hassle return policy but someone should inquire as to whether this unit was brand new or reconditioned.
