Powerful Cleaner
More powerful than the normal Bissell cleaner. Took out a really difficult stain that had been sitting there for two weeks.

Cleans well, little after odor
I typically use 1/2 the recommended amount. It seems to clean very well at that concentration, and leaves little to no after odor, even in the winter when the house is closed. I use it with a Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner | 1986, which is an effective machine, light enough to move around easily, and cleans up easily. Overall, I am very happy that I don’t need to rent a machine again. I spilled some used motor oil (don’t ask) on the carpet, and though it took /many/ passes with this cleaner at full strength, the oil stain came out.

Effectiveness
This product is awesome and it leaves your carpet smelling fresh. I recommend this product to anyone with tough stains.

Pretty impressed!
I think of all the many different Bissel carpet shampoo formulas this one is the best so far. It really drew out the grime that was invisible. It does not remove stubborn stains which is why I gave it 4 stars. I found another solution to do that trick and then found an even better one! First I used Tuff Stuff which I thought was the bomb (sold in automotive departments). And then I found Zep stain remover – two thumbs up! I have wall to wall white polyester carpet and after having a 100% white wool rug I find it is very hard to get rid of stains. I will continue to use this great shampoo until I find something even better – it’s an ongoing process.

Excellent
It does the job. I rented a Bissell Big Green carpet cleaning machine and used the recommended pro-formula detergent. The carpet is very old and was nasty but now looks much better. I definitely recommend it.

If You Have a Big Green–Get This
I didn’t think there was much difference in carpet cleaners until I used an off-brand in my Big Green. This cleaner is far, far superior to any other I’ve used. It gets the dirt and stains out! There’s no sudsing, and this formula has something in it to help prevent stains. I don’t know how this would work in anything but a Big Green, but I have a feeling it would be just fine.
