Wow, this set is really nice, but practical?
I ordered this “Biodegradable All-Purpose Wipes Starter Kit – BPA free, Eco-Friendly Skin & Surface Cleaning Wipes, Plant-Based All Natural & Non-Toxic (White), from Biom” because, honestly, who wouldn’t want to use wipes of that description? I thought my evaluation would be a slam dunk. I did, however, find some problems that took the shine off the product. This review will be a bit lengthy because this is a very important subject. Hope I don’t bore anyone.
The creamy white refillable container for the Biom wipes is awesome. It has a smooth, cool feel to the touch which I suppose is called a matte finish, but with my eyes closed, feels similar to my hand floating on a watery surface. There are no seams on the body until the lid, which can be opened and closed silently. I heard a tiny ‘whoosh’ upon opening the lid every time, so there really is an “airtight seal!” The only marking, which is nearly invisible, is the brand name impressed in small letters into the lid. It’s a very subtle and tasteful item.
The wipes I received are grapefruit zest scented, which is delightful to me, except that it’s so subtle it’s barely there. I think it’s because the wipes are only a little bit moist. Since I had just opened the sealed packet to fill the container for the first time a couple of days ago, I can’t imagine why there’s so little moisture. That is very impractical, for what are they for except wiping and cleaning little and big hands and faces, plus surfaces?
Coaxing the first wipe through the minimal opening made in the lid’s center (a single straight cut inside this soft, rubbery circle) was way too much work. I pulled it back out and promptly cross-cut another two shorter snips. This solved two problems: the wipes came out gently and individually, and more moisture was present because they weren’t being tightly stripped on the way out. They work well, without irritation, and I’ll trust that they will fully biodegrade, as described.
The final problem, unfortunately, is the cost. Of course, using ingredients to make surface cleaning and skin care wipes that are eco-friendly by being biodegradable, plant based, all natural, non-toxic, and Certified Plastic Neutral, plus allow for costs and profit, means customers must have the means and the commitment to make this choice. It’s extremely worthwhile for all our sakes (especially if one shops around and finds refills averaging about twelve cents a sheet). So, I recommend them for times when a washable face cloth or cleaning cloth are not easily available.

Wow. Just wow.
My roommate is a great guy, but also a vile and disgusting human being. Daily he locks me out of our dorm to gratify himself. These “sessions” are excessively indulgent–typically lasting 40-60 minutes–and have left our surfaces with a fine patina of vaseline and bodily fluids.
That is until I bought Biom Biodegradable All-Purpose wipes. Unlike all other wipes, which failed to cleanse our room of his sinful residue, Biom got every last drop, leaving only a pleasant grapefruit scent behind! Not only was it effective, its attractive case encouraged prompt use from my roommate in his carnal state. It’s gotten to the point that cleaning up afterward has become part of his ritual! I just cannot recommend this product enough!

Safe for My Cats and Eco-Friendly
These wipes are a game changer! I love that they’re eco-friendly and completely safe for pets and kids. With two curious cats in my house, it’s such a relief to use these on surfaces without worrying about harsh chemicals. They smell really nice, clean well, and I feel good knowing they’re biodegradable. If you’re a pet owner or parent, these are a must-have!
