Battery Replacement for MacBook Pro A1707 (2016, 2017) 15-inch A1820 Battery

Amazing battery and tools necessary for easy replacement
My MBP was down to 5% max battery and would shut off if I unplugged. This battery replacement was amazing and had all the tools I needed to switch it out. I will say one thing… be VERY CAREFUL when prying up the two middle sections of the battery (photo is of the two middle battery sections) as there are circuits underneath. I dumbly didn’t realize this (skipped through that part of the video so my fault) and nicked the left sensor for the trackpad. I was terrified I had messed everything up but finished replacing the battery and put it all back together. The trackpad surprisingly still works but I can definitely tell that it’s not 100% sensored like it used to be (doesn’t click well on the right side and can be a bit finicky sometimes now). Like I said, that was 100 my fault so wanted to warn everyone to be really careful on the two middle sections when prying up the battery (don’t dig with the corner of the prying tool, only stay flush with the surface of the MBP. The sensors sit below the surface so you’re fine as long as you don’t dig with the edge of the prying tool. Feel free to dig as much as you like with the left and right sides of the battery as there are no sensors there. Just the two middle sections where you need to be careful). Other than that, probably took around an hour and 15 for me to swap it out and the new battery is lasting me around 4 hours of heavy usage battery time! I’ll take that over 0 minutes of battery time! I highly recommend!

Battery shorted out my keyboard and motherboard
I am not a techie guy, but I installed this battery following all instructions.Then my computer went haywire. No key board, wierd glitches on screen.Yikes! I took it to technician. He said battery overwhelmed my system and shorted things out.He is still trying to fix my motherboard, if he can’t, I am out 2grand for my macbook pro.If there was any way I could have never installed this and instead taken it to a technician and them install the factory battery, I absolutley would. The company will refund my battery but say there is nothing they can do for my computer. Bad time!

AMAZING!
I was skeptical at first, But this battery is actually better than the original MacBook pro battery. So the install was a little intimidating at first. Thought it was a little beyond my scope but it was not bad at all. The video will literally take you step-by-step. Follow her directions and its a piece of cake. I have ran to battery to critical low, then completed a full charge now several times, and so far its been excellent. Exceeded my expectations. 5 Stars

Ran into a no power issue
After following the tutorial, my MacBook would not power on. After an hour of frustrated thoughts, I came back with a cool head. I had to tighten the battery connector screw more than I already had (the biggest screw during the installation) and I did not put the battery connector cover back and it turned on just fine. I am going to see if the battery life is better, but my MacBook doesn’t say that the battery needs to be serviced anymore.My battery definitely needed replacing. It had began to swell, but due to the design of the laptop, I couldn’t even tell that it began to swell in the first place!

La batteria dovrebbe arrivare con tutti i cacciaviti necessari per lo smontaggio della batteria (anche se nei modelli del 2018/2019 servono 5 tipi di cacciaviti ma ne vengono forniti solo 4) ma a me sono arrivati due tipi di caccivite in duplice copia. Fortunatamente quelli necessari già li possedevo.Riguardo alla qualità della batteria, potrò fornire informazioni corrette solo dopo un po’ di uso.
