Horrible
Like one other reviewer said, there arenât any good instructions so you will have to view the video for instructions. This truly sucks because it doesnât clean the tank as I expected it to. The only good thing it does is remove the water from the tank. It didnât remove any dirt. I wasnât able to get the water into the tank with using this item. I ended up cleaning my tank with a manual pump and manually replacing the water. This is a waste of money. Also, you will need an extension cord if you want it to reach because the cord definitely isnât long enough.

So far so good
The pump works well so far. Though it’s only been used once so I have no idea if the durability is good yet, but it cleans the gravel well. Was a bit of a hassle to assemble especially as the plastic tubing you screw over the electric cord is not watertight at all. Honestly it’s a pointless section for how little it worked. Great for the price thus far.

That every fits and works properly.
It cleans the fish poo from the gravel fine. However there is one peace with threads that fits nothing. Making it useless. However with the price it does the job.

Great vacuum
Didnât realize how valuable this would become. I bought it to replace a battery operated one that stopped working. I have used it over and over again in the last month. Itâs a great vac, gravel cleaner. But, Iâm finding it invaluable in filling tank water and quickly emptying tanks. I have 5 tanks from tiny 3 gal all the way up to 60 gal and it is awesome at emptying every bit of water. Definitely recommend

The filter is awesome!
I have only used the filtering vacuum feature on this cleaner so far, and I love it. I have a slate-bottom axolotl tank, so when there is waste (poop) on the bottom, it is very obvious. I just attach the sponge filter, vacuum up the waste, and clean water returns to the tank. Rinsing the sponge filter is simple, so it’s always ready to use. I love the length extenders for our 40-gallon tank. The only con I’ve found is that I wish the power cord was slightly longer. For a large aquarium on a tall tank stand, the cord only barely reaches, but it works!

This thing is amazing. The motor is strong and Iâve used it to vacuum the sand in my tanks. I wouldnât recommend it for smaller tanks as the motor is pretty strong and will pull water/debris quickly. Itâs amazing on the sand! Easy to assemble and use.
