I don’t have an aquarium, so that’s not why I ordered these brushes. I use the long blue snakey one to clean out all the lint that gets past the filter on my clothes dryer. And believe me, there was plenty of it. I did NOT want to have a dryer fire! As this is so long and flexible, it’s a handy gadget for cleaning all the build up in the machine itself and the ductwork as well. It’s perfect for my needs. It also came with those handy-dandy mini brushes, which I’ve used to clean out plastic straws. I haven’t used them for anything else. Yet. I’m sure I’ll be using them for other things as well.

These brushes are great. I love there are several to choose from. Yes the black ones are on a ring, but I did not find that inconvenient at all. In fact, I felt it was very convenient to use if youâre holding something in one of your hands.

After treating my fish for nearly every disease and she is still not well, I decided to clean every nook and cranny of everything that is in or on the aquarium. I could not reach the inside of the gunked up filter tubing without the long flexible brush. It was able to reach all the bends and turn easily.

Unfortunately itâs not as flexible as I thought it would be. I was trying to clean my 90 degree aquarium filter pipe it went through once but it took a bit of a beating and I didnât want to re attempt to force it through again because it felt like the bristles werenât going to make it through the second time.
