Excellent cleaner for a fish tank
I love this product. It is a bit difficult to get started, but once it is put together it works like a charm. I have been able to clean out my tank without needed to add more water as it sucks up the dirt and puts back the h2o. You have other options as well if you need to drain the tank or have sand. Highly recommend.

terrible, doesn’t suck, which it should
Bought this to make it easier to vacuum the gravel. It barely has enough suction to get the water started. Then stopped 1/2 way through. The manual gravel vacuum still far better. This is a waste of money.

I bought this nine months ago and it broke today, so I had it for almost exactly 9 months.Pros: Suction is okay, it was easier to use in his smaller tank (27)good selection of accessories.Cons:The power cable was a bit too short for my likingThe on/ off switch was closest to the plug, not where your hands are.The pole snapped right above the motor during use, with no sign that it was weak/ about to breakI expected this to last longer? I donât feel like I was rough on it or anything, and was shocked when the handle broke clean off while using it.

Bad purchase for me
I ordered this last week, I ran water through before using. When I used to “clean the rocks” which didnt work. I then had to do an exchange of 20% water. Fish acted funny after doing so. So I decided to change out entire tank like I usually do but I used this product to suck out all water. Not sure what happened but two days after change all my fish died. 3 balla sharks, 1 rainbow shark 3 pictus catfish and two small suckers. Over $100 gone after using this product.** my water was tested prior to this product which was perfect.****

This thing just dumps water back into the aquarium nearly destroying my substrate with the filter attachment, and with how far the power switch is, you’ll probably need two people to use it unless you want to burn out the pump. Water flow valve does nothing. Broken after I turned it off once, just like other reviews have stated.
