Save your money
It just sucks. When cleaning glass it gets “tired” and stops. You have to restart it every time it gets tired (even when fully charged). 3 of the pads scratched my aquarium glass (with very little pressure). I have multiple Aquariums and bought this to help clean the glass on my 120. It sucks. Save your money!!

it comes with several head that can be switched out. The brush has different level of spin and I find the middle power seems to work really well and not disturb the fish too much. It was easy to use, and save some time to clean the tank now.what I don’t like about this product? so far nothing. I was a little annoyed that motor part is too bulky but it helps the whole thing sink into the water better

Donât use scrubbing/scouring pad on acrylic tanks
I purchased this item thinking it was going to cut down cleaning time by scrubbing the algae off the tank walls using the scrubbing pad included in the kit. I spot tested a small corner of my ACRYLIC aquarium tank. The scrubbing pad is too harsh on the acrylic and dulled the surface. The other pads are too soft to get any really tough algae. I decided to cut out a piece of scrubbing pad I normally use to clean my aquarium and it seemed to do a decent job.So the most abrasive pad that is included in this kit IS NOT safe to use in ACRYLIC aquarium tanks. I donât know about glass tanks because I donât have a glass aquarium to test it. My recommendation is to cut out a circular piece of scrubbing pad specifically made for acrylic aquarium and attach it to the Velcro backing plate. It will have just enough to stay on without coming off while in use.The extension bar seems a little bit cheap, and if you use the faster spin setting, youâll definitely stress out your fish from the turbine-like forces coming from the unit.

Update: I like to update my reviews if a product outperforms (or underperforms) my original review. After using this a few times, I came back and added a fifth star. I works so well cleaning my fish pool that it is truly a game-changer, and literal back-saver for me. My indoor fish pond gets cleaner faster, and with much less effort from me than before. Sure the brushes are a little deformed from the way they are packaged, but I’ll take it. See my full original review below.Original review:This is a nice tool for a large aquarium or small pond/pool. I have a pool that I use for keeping fish, and this really does the trick for cleaning. The long handle makes it easy, and the stiff brush takes the brown algae right off the sides and bottom. Being rechargeable is very convenient, and there are no cords or hoses to deal with. Battery life is excellent.I would not recommend this for a small aquarium. You could probably use it in a 40 or 55 gallon, but it is better suited to even larger than that – even without the handle extensions.This would be good for scrubbing other things besides an aquarium as well.There are a number of brushes and cloths to choose from.Some of the spinning brushes, which are supposed to be round, got squished in their box and are permanently deformed. This does not appear to be because of shipping, it’s the way the product itself is packaged. They still work, but being misshapen does affect their performance. It is disappointing. If not for that, I would give this product five stars.

It scratched the whole glass

Seems to be a good aquarium algae cleaner for larger tanks.
AQQA-8 in 1 Aquarium Cleaning Kit. I like this cleaner. It is a bit large, so it canât get into all of the corners of my 60 gallon aquarium, but it does reach most of the areas. One of the biggest problems is algae buildup on your glass and on the ornaments. I try to do a cleaning once a week to stay ahead of the growth, and it makes it easier to get things clean before the algae sticks too hard. There are so many attachments with this that Iâm sure I wonât be able to use them all. I suppose some of them could be used for other things like cleaning your car, but I like to keep things that go in my aquarium isolated to that only so that chemicals donât contaminate the water. It works quite easily. One observation is that the power switch is on the head unit so itâs under water. I wish it were on the handle so that you could turn it off before taking it out of the tank, possibly spraying water around. You do get used to that quick. I like the brushes to clean the ornaments, and the scrapers for the glass. There are three handles extensions which would make it long enough for pretty much any home tank. Iâm only using two and itâs plenty long enough. Iâm excited to use this to keep my tank clean.

Almost perfect for my reef tanks
I was so excited opening this up! Nicely packaged, base unit seems very well made, not a cheap, thin plastic but very sturdy and feels solid in my hand. It comes with extension rods so you can make it as long or as short as you need, and even though all my fishtanks are quite tall, this cleaner reaches the very bottom very nicely without me having to get my sleeves and arms soaked. It comes with 8 different heads/brushes/scrubbers that you attach to the velcro base which pretty much covers every need I have while cleaning a fish tank. It charged up quickly and has two speeds and I wanted to really love this unit. The only drawback is, at least in saltwater tanks, is that the base unit is so bulky that I can’t get into hard-to-reach areas, and there are lots of those areas in a reef tank that is full of live rock and expensive corals. I will still be using it in my tanks but not as often as I had hoped, but for those times once or twice a year when I remove all the rocks and corals for a deep clean, this is going to be a winner!
