The product arrived and was able to put a full charge on it. Unfortunately, the ups unit was too old and would not accept the fully charged battery. Root cause was an obsolete device, the battery met all expectations.

I have purchased several of these batteries to replace some that went bad in my APC UPS boxes. The replacement batteries are way cheaper than buying a whole new UPS box. The batteries are not difficult to replace YouTube has all the instructions you need. Iâve been very happy with the batteries.

Lasted exactly two years and two months. Worked as it should, but only half as long as the original.

Always buy name brand APC replacement batteries, it is worth it.
Well, it finally happened, the dreaded beep of death for the battery in my home UPS. Having had experience with UPS battery failures at work, and their replacements, we’ve been burnt over the years buying third-party replacement UPS batteries. They usually don’t last as long as you’d expect, often they don’t provide sufficient run-time when your components are running on battery power, and when they fail, boy do they fail spectacularly. One time we had one fail and when we finally got the beep of death, we open the UPS and find out that the battery has swollen so much that we couldn’t remove it from the UPS, causing us to replace the whole unit. And the battery was a third party one, not an APC. Lesson learned. From that point forward, both for work and for home, I only purchase replacement batteries for my APC ups that are APC branded batteries, and you should, too.

Genuine APC battery. Even though it’s twice the price compared to 3rd party battery, given the expensive equipment it protects and its long lifespan(normally 3 years as all my APC UPS batteries), it’s well worth the investment.
