Tuya software is great. Map I’ve included is main floor and the blue areas are no mop zones and orange is a never zone (shag type rug). Can store 3 maps (3 floors). Wish could have a round no go zone but nbd. Scheduling is simple. Changing floors is two clicks you can do while walking your unit to appropriate location.Mopping is more like wiping function. Obviously going to be limited without moving parts but it’s worth it. It’s not going to clean dried sugary drinks to perfection of course.Cool unit.

I purchased my AirroboT10+ about 3 months ago. So not it is a good time to review. Its suction of 2700 Pa is sufficient for most of the daily work. Lidar works as expected. While in motion, it touches the obstacles and then circumvents them. I was assuming it will sense the obstacle and then circumvent it without touching but it touches. Many pieces of furniture are sort of static in the home, I expect it should not touch every day while vacuuming. Robots should learn about it but it does not.The restricted zone that you can make cannot be less than 1mx1m.For mopping it has 2 attachments. The first is the water tank and the second is the felt mop. To mop you need to put both the attachments but for vacuum only you need to take out the felt mop attachment. If you have a carpeted room and your 2 attachments are attached to the robot and if you have water in the tank then even if you want to vacuum the carpet, it will literally mop the carpet. There is no way to stop water flow. The Waterflow regulator in the app ranges from min to max but no option to stop. As a result, your carpet is a bit wet.To vacuum such carpet area, I need to detach the felt mop attachment and then it will not make the carpet wet.So, by default, I keep the felt mop detached and whenever required I attach it.I have an area rug in my wooded/tiled living. I want all the areas to be vacuumed and the non-rug area to be mopped. I learned, that there are 2 ways of doing this. First, add a no-mopping zone. Adding the No Mopping Zone is not precise. It requires multiple tries and re-adjustment. But after a few attempts, you can set it. With this No Mopping Zone and both the attachments attached to the robot, the robot vacuums and mops the living room but does not go onto the rug to only vacuum it.The second way is to run the robot for vacuum only by detaching the mopping felt attachment. It is okay to have a water tank with water attached while vacuuming. This will vacuum my wooded/tiled area as well as the rug area. Once vacuuming is completed then attach the mopping felt attachment and now run it for mopping. Now it will not go over the rug as you have already set up the rug area as no mopping zone. While vacuuming it makes a noise of about 54db and while emptying it goes up to 75db that too for 20 sec or so. So noise-wise it is not bad. This has only one edge sweeper fan. This is not that effective. So in the area like the kitchen, I generally sweep the boundaries myself and ask the robot to do the rest of the work.Although it is said that the duct collector collects the dust for up to 6 weeks, I have not yet emptied it in the last 10 weeks. So that is again good. The map function is good. We can save up to 5 maps. I have not tried using it for the 2nd floor. Hopefully, I need not take my big emptying station to the 2nd floor. If that is required then that will be tedious. There is none to less information on YouTube or otherwise about how to set up with Alexa or Google.Overall this is a good product and I recommend it at the price under $400.

Update: this vacuum only lasted a year and a half and then completely broke! At the year mark, we started having a lot of issues with it where it would not empty into the base. It would tell me the bag was full, even though it was not. We would put a new bag inside and it would continually tell me the bag is full and never empty. Eventually, the vacuum was full too because the chamber is very small, so it wouldnt’t pick anything else up because it would not empty into the base. My husband kept playing around with the bag and the base for months and would get it to empty only once here and there. Eventually, after that issue, the vacuum ended up not holding a charge for very long even though it’s always on the base and it would just shut off right in the middle of a job and I would have to carry it all the way back to the base. Now it does not work at all. The base is plugged in and it still lights up, but when you push the vacuum button to turn it on, it does absolutely nothing and will not turn back on. Now it’s just an expensive paperweight that I wish I never spent my money on and I should have just returned it in the beginning. The longer we kept it, the more problems would pop up with it.I’ve had this vacuum for 2 months now. I wanted to wait to give an honest review on how it’s been working. I have 3 cats and 2 dogs that shed a lot. I have hard wood floors and I couldn’t keep up with all the hair that was always tumble weeding around. I thought this would maybe help to minimize some. It works ok. It will pick up some things like cat litter. It blows a lot of air as it goes around and it will actually blow around bunches of hair instead of pick them up sometimes. I end up with bunches of hair around the outside of my rooms near the wood trim. Also it is supposed to have lasers to know if something is near by so that it doesn’t run into it or over it and suck it up. That function does not seem to work right at all. It has sucked up phone wires, dog toys, cat toys, etc. so now I kind of have to monitor it because the items will get stuck and jam it. It will also ride right up and over the bottom floor of my cat tower. Lol The one big problem that I have with this vacuum is that hair gets jammed and stuck in everything underneath and it’s very hard to clear it out. My two puppy’s are excessive chewers and love to destroy dog toys. I will have bits and pieces of toys on the ground and pieces of stuffing. Sometimes it will not suck up the pieces of plastic toys even though they are small, but the small pieces of stuffing constantly will clog the vacuum up. It only has a very small square underneath to pick up which will clog easily if it’s picking something up that’s thicker. Another thing I hate is the animal hair and toy stuffing gets wrapped around the wheels and little individual spin brushes and then they can’t spin. Basically if you have a lot of animal hair around you will be trying to unclog it a lot… My husband has had to take it apart because there was no space to clear out the wheels or anything and no way to get the stuff that was clogged out. He Ended up with so much hair and other stuff that was clogged and wrapped around the wheels that it looked like a giant bunny. It get’s annoying if you have to continue to do this. The suction seems to be ok and will suck up cat food and cat litter. I would say if you have animals that shed a lot I would skip this vacuum. If not then should be fine for normal use but won’t replace a really good push vacuum for tougher jobs.

This is a great robot vacuum. I had a pricey Shark version that met a very disgusting demise after rolling in dog poo and smearing it all over the house. I purchased this as a replacement and it does a fantastic job. It has a ton of features in the app. The mop setting doesn’t work well for me, it ends up leaving water streaks all over the floor, but still happy with it because the vacuum setting is so great. Well worth the money!
