But it doesn’t fit ALL weedeaters!
I had to return this. I have a Ryobi 18v electric weedeater and there is no way to take the head off to put this on. I believe some models you can, but not mine. 🙁 I even called Ryobi but as usual, trying to get any DIY info is useless. They just say take it to a repair/dealer or you’ll void your warranty. I’m pretty handy though, no way to take this one apart.

poor quality steel bristles
The steel used for the heads is too soft and this doesn’t last . I went through four of these and still could not finish my project. It was a waste of money and time

It works!
It does the job quite well. Just know it is an unforgiving tool. If you hit a painted or stained surface, it will absolutely show. It works well with my Husqvarna weedeater and installed just as easy as any other attachment.

Weed whacking
Got my job done quickly. I used it on heavy grass and weeds It did an okay job and so far works the best on high grass and weeds Iâve seen. For me it gets the job done. I canât see me wearing it out since I donât use it weekly. It seems to be extremely durable. I use on a still weed eater which isnât my favorite tool but is the one I use for heavy duty wacking. Only you can decide if itâs right for you. I wouldnât use it around flower beds or fruit/ ornaments trees or shrubs. If it gets too close those plants are damaged if not gone. Itâs working well on high grass and weeds 1-3 feet tall.

If you have an echo be prepared to buy extra parts
It did not come with the correct connection for Echo trimmer. Had to buy another part and then have that modified in order to be able to use. Also, very heavy.

Doesnât fit, terrible directions.
I was excited to try this attachment on my trimmer, but after hours of trying, it just wonât work on my trimmer. The little piece of paper in the box had the smallest font possible, making it very hard to read the words. There were two different nuts, yet neither fit on the bolt. When I tried a different one from my supply, the weed wacker ratcheted it tighter and tighter until it was locked down when I turned it on. I feel like there were parts missing to make this spin.The concept seemed so simple and easy and the wire brush-like âspokesâ felt very sturdy and capable but Iâm unable to use it, so I wasted money.

Fits 28cc Husqvarna 128LD but TOO HEAVY!!!
My trimmer has 10 teeth driver assembly on the gearbox. It looks exactly like the Stihl trimmer reviewer Ralph Cheney has. The included 6 teeth driver assembly obviously can’t be used. Keep the original 10 teeth assembly on, put the wire wheel in place, then put on the included black 10 teeth washer. Make sure the raised end is down into the grove to keep the wire wheel in place. I had to wiggle it a little bit but it will slide on. Then put the brass thrust washer on the opposite way of the black 10 teeth washer. Then use the brass lock nut. Keep it level and tighten. That’s it for installation.Now for operation, this thing is waaaay too heavy for a small cc engine and very heavy to hold while using. It’s slow to spin up and it will completely stop if you hit something. Then you have to wait for it to spin up again. I could literally hear the engine strain. After one use, I put the tried and true bump feeder back on.
