These extension tubes are not heavy duty, but they are light weight, and perfect for my needs. No more having to stand on a ladder to vacuum areas that has high cathedral ceilings and window ledge. Just pop the pieces together and getter done.ð

Do the job but flimsy
I bought these for my Hoover TaskVac Commercial; it came with only a single, short extension piece to use as a wand. I added two of these pieces to the end of that one and that’s sufficient length for me to vacuum crevices around the floor without bending over.My only complaint is that the plastic walls of this pipe are VERY thin. You can’t put much stress on them at all or they bend. I only dinged them one star because I don’t think you really need to put that much stress on them to do the job. I realized I was doing that while trying to vacuum some bath mats using a brush attachment; I was really pressing the attachment down into the mat by leveraging the top end of the extensions, and that was causing them to noticeably bend. I don’t think the vacuum works any better by smashing the head into the rug, though, so I just used this as an opportunity to train myself not to do that. Nonetheless, it doesn’t bode well for the extension longevity, so I only gave it one star for sturdiness.

UPDATE: Lightweight Trash (Was: Functional, but lightweight)
UPDATE: These extensions are far too thin to be usable! By the end of the end of the first use, 3 of the 6 extensions had cracked. Do not attempt to connect more than 2 of these together or your risk cracking. We needed at least 3 linked together to vacuum our 12 foot vaulted wall, and the only way we could accomplish this is by connecting 3 of these extensions and then duct taping a broom handle to them to remove the stress.This product arrived and was as described in that it was 6 pieces of 1.25 inch vacuum extension wands. They fit together nicely, and fit as they should to the 1.25 nozzle of my shop vac hose. However, while these wands work and are perfectly functional, they are manufactured from a very lightweight plastic.Some may consider this an advantage to keep weight down, but I am concerned with how long these will last.
