Basically you need some extra filters for when one of the kids throws out the filter with the dust, or when it gets dirty. These do the job, and are economical.

Really fits!
Before, I brought a filter that looks like the old one of my black and decker handheld vacuum model(HNV220BCZ10FF), but it was too big and was the wrong one. When I bought these filters, I was a little worried. To my surprise and delight, it was a perfect fit! Now I can be able to use my vacuum to clean my floors. They may last me a long time. I’m so glad I brought these.

These DO NOT fit the Black and Decker hand vac, model number HNV220BCZ10FF
We have a Black and Decker dust buster, model number HNV220BCZ10FF. These are completely the wrong shape for the vacuum, couldn’t fit at all. The size itself seemed right, but the shape was different to the point that it wouldn’t form a seal like it’s supposed to.

I had been needing these so bad as my handheld vacuum gets used often, & the filter I had on them was in terrible shape. Great replacement grabbing these when I did. I’m happy with em & they fit perfectly.

I think the old filter on my trusty Dustbuster was pretty well gunked up, and cleaning–even washing–wasn’t doing much (see first picture, comparing the used filter–after I had washed it–with the new one). These new filters are exact replacements for the old ones, and cheap enough that I won’t need to clean it so many times.That said, this comes with a brush–after trying the Dustbuster out on my dirty workbench, I brushed off the filter and it came pretty clean. So maybe I’ll do that more often, and the filters will last longer. Also be sure to clean off the blue filter–it’s easy, just run some water through it and shake it off.It wasn’t obvious to me how to replace the filter, I was trying to take it apart form the wrong side. The second and third pictures show how you do it–it’s an easy twist off, and twist the new one back on. The blue tabs don’t go all the way into the slot on the back of the white filter, not to worry.Just make sure you get the right replacements–over the years, the Dustbusters have had different kinds of filters. The filters are labeled for type, but you’ll have to get the light just right to see the code (and if your eyes are like mine, a magnifying glass won’t hurt). These replacements don’t appear to have the code imprinted, so you may want to write it down. If worse comes to worst, look at the pictures the manufacturer provides, or at the label on the vacuum itself, then look that label up to see the filter part number.
