this replacement battery did not work properly.
However, the company supported their product with a full refund. All companies may have an individual product that doesn’t quite stand up to their own standards once it reaches the consumer, but how a company deals with these few instances defines their customer service. high praise for their response.

Good product to replace your old one.
Glad I didn’t throw the machine away. The vacuum was in perfect condition but would not work. It was the old battery. I bought this and I was skeptical at first but to my surprise, it worked very well & exact fit. It was durable, powerful, and has a good charging ability.

Poorly Charges. BEWARE
At first, I though this was a great idea in November 2024, instead of buying a whole new Dyson. It worked well. I had intermittent issues with the battery life, however, thought it was my fault, since I didn’t keep it plugged in when not in use.
Just now, I tried to use, it should have been fully charged, since it has been plugged in for a few days. Battery dead! Now Amazon writes a lot of issues with returns on this item, that alert wasn’t posted when I ordered it. I can’t return it. Beware before ordering!

Brought the Dyson back to life
Great replacement battery and easy to install. Now the Dyson is working well and lasting like it did from new.

Updated 12/20/2024. Slightly more power and adequate run-time
I purchased this battery because the run-time of my previous battery had decreased to the point that it would need to be recharged during use. This battery seemed to provide slightly more power to the Dyson but the run-time was not increased. After two months of use, the run-time of the battery has decreased to the point that it needs to be recharged more frequently than the old battery. I measured the run-time of this battery and it lasted 5 minutes and 43 seconds. The battery (2.6 Ah, 5 years old) that I purchased this one to replace had a run-time more than twice as long. I emailed the seller and asked for a refund or a replacement battery. I received no response to the email. I contacted the seller through the widget on the seller’s page on Amazon to ask the seller a question. The seller responded quickly and sent a replacement which I received three days later. The new battery works as it should with a run-time of more than seventeen minutes. I will update the review if this battery fails in the near future.

My little dyson V6 is at least ten years old, this is the second battery and thats expected
keep yours clean and all you need is a new battery

Worked 100%.
Worked perfectly and 100% fit the Dyson V6 car and boat. Color match and Max mode function as normal. Feel stronger suction than before.

Garbage. Worked ONCE. Zero or negative star. Scam.
Item was delivered on 10/22/24. I used ONE TIME. Tried to vacuum for the second time on 11/24/24, and the battery did not work at all with no indicator light 🙁
Absolute garbage. It lasted ONE MONTH at most. Even on the first use, it was dying intermittently while vacuuming. Very disappointed.
Return window closed on 11/21/24. This seems like a scam, with the sheer volume of similar negative reviews stating this product failed after ONE USE and soon after the return window closed. Terrible.
I noticed a new alert: “FREQUENTLY RETURNED ITEM”
I was trying to save a little money by buying this battery instead of the original Dyson, but now regretfully I still need to buy the original Dyson battery 🙁
Summary: Terrible, one use, waste of time and money, basically a scam
