Better than new
My Dyson inevitably cra@pped out on me and after a few troubleshooting steps (cord/filter replacement, additional deep cleaning) NADA.Went online and after some research looks like my v8 animal needed a new battery. I was hesitant buying an off brand replacement, but this battery has superseded its predecessor by a long shot.The battery works longer than my Dyson out of box!!Package comes with a VERY handy dual-ended brush with an inner box cutter that helps cut the many tangled hairs the vacuum picks up everyday and the brush helps clean those hard to reach corners of the canister and filters.For the price, functionality, extras and convenience this is hands down a must buy if youâre needing a replacement and youâre hesitant about purchasing elsewhere to Dyson.

throw away instructions!
The instructions on how to install the battery are for some other model or vacume. I purchased the V8 replacement bettery. I figured it out myself and it went on no problem It took a few hrs to fully charge but I tried it out and after 15mins or so on “High” suction power, it still had 3 chicklets left on the battery monitor. So after about 15+ it went to 2 chicklets. I didn’t put it on the charger after using it because I want to see how it lasts. My original dyson battery was down to less than 2 mins run time when I changed it out with this one. As long as the battery lasts a good bit of time this was a good buy.

This battery restored my aging Dyson to full power
It took all of 3 minutes to replace the battery and the new one came with a small Phillips-head screwdriver plus the 2 filters and a brush to clean the Dyson with. I can tell the suction power increase plus I can do everything and the battery does not run out as the original was doing. Excellent choice!
