This works very well. It is very easy to use and cleaned the gravel in the tank beautifully. I could tell a huge difference in the clarity of the water after the cleaning. Before I got the kind of siphon with a gravel cleaner, my water would be very hazy after a cleaning and it would usually take 24 hours to settle. This was mildly hazy for about an hour after cleaning. I love the squeeze siphon. Heretofore I was doing the syphoning the old fashioned way and that’s not a very sanitary activity lol.

The suction worked great to clean the sand in my 55 gallon tank. The sand was not disrupted too much but enough to clean. However, the pump did not work a second time. It appears that the diaphragm gave out and will not establish a siphon.
