Don’t waste your money with the manufacturer, get this!
Buying a replacement battery directly from the brand manufacturer would’ve cost $130 + taken more than a month for delivery. I didn’t have a month when my battery was depleted thus affecting my laptop performance. I even talked to someone about faster delivery, wanting to see if there were any options for that and was told “WE CANNOT CHANGE DELIVERY TIMES”, like that in all capital letters. Also I really wasn’t wanting to pay that large of a sum for a battery, for that cost I might as well put that kind of money into buying a new laptop. Anyway, this works out great. Its compatible with my laptop, is the same voltage as my old battery, and is doing what it needs to do. The battery does not come fully 100% charged, but it charges up fully within a half and I get several hours of a charge without the adapter needing to be plugged in. Why bother wasting your money with the manufacturer when this works just the same? I will recommend this to anyone needing a new battery!

Thank you for this battery for my Dell laptop! The one that came with the laptop stopped holding a charge, so when I found this one, I took a chance and ordered it and it works great. I was so happy it was compatible with my laptop. It installed easily – slides right into the spot meant for it in my laptop and locks in place fine. Very speedy shipping too. Good value for the money.

Fits great
Arrived on time, had it about 2 weeks now, installed easy and so far last around 2.5 hours before needing to be recharged. Don’t know about long term yet.

Does not fit for Dell Inspiron 3000 series laptop even though the description says it does
I purchased this battery and with death in family I just got around to installing this. After opening the back of my computer, I realize this is not even close to the size of battery that will fit in my Dell Inspiron 3583 laptop. My battery is square, and this battery is long and rectangle shaped. I am out of the return window by 2 weeks. I immediately started a chat with an Amazon associate who said they would refund my money, but it’s been a week now and no refund was issued. Apparently I’m screwed out of $30. Be warned, it does not fit Dell Inspiron 3000 series laptop, which it clearly says it does in the description.
