Got these to reduce from a 1 1/2 hose to fit 1 1/4 Shop Vac accessories. The adapter is some sort of soft plastic that is very flimsy and does not seat well on the hose or in the accessories. Not worth the cost involved, better off investing in 1 1/2 accessories in the long run or replacing with a 1 1/4 inch hose.

Was sorta skeptical when I opened the package (looked pretty cheap), but was pleasantly surprised with how well they actually work. They grip the hose and attachments tightly , they haven’t come loose even when used hard, they’re an excellent value for the cost. I’d recommend these adapters to friends and family .

I’m looking for an adapter that fits on the handle portion, not the tube portion and this just doesn’t work. One of the attachments fit into the handle but then the actual vacuum attachments didn’t fit on the other end of it. Had to return.
